This is the video I’ve been waiting for all day. After his speech tonight, Santorum was asked by CNN reporters about the Drudge headline today (“SANTORUM’S SATAN WARNING”). He responded by saying “It’s a joke…it’s absurd.” He then said:
I’m a person of faith. I believe in good and evil. If somehow or another because you’re a person of faith and you believe in good and evil is a disqualifier for president, we’re going to have a very small pool of candidates who can run for president.
But after they persisted, Santorum then challenged the media and said they can dig up old speeches if they want to, but he is going to continue to talk about America and stay on message:
Guys these are questions that are not relevant to what’s being discussed in America today. What we’re talking about in America today is trying to get America growing. That’s what my speeches are about. That’s we’re going to talk about in this campaign. If they want to go ahead and dig up old speeches to a religious group they can go right ahead and do so. I’m going to stay on message. I’m going to talk about the things Americans want to talk about which is creating jobs, getting our country safer and secure, and yeah taking on the forces around this world who want to do harm to America. And you bet I will take them on!

Note how the MSM has manufactured this issue by continuously peppering Santorum about the particulars of his faith, in order to keep the news cycle going and to attack him at the same time.
I saw how Drudge blitzed Newt. I don’t think much of his blitzing of Santorum either. Mark Levin said our candidates need to attack the media back and stay on message last night on his radio show when he first came on the air:

Drudge has gone off a cliff. He is now digging up dirt on candidates who he doesn’t promote.
Yes, but Mark Levin still defends Drudge and tells us to lay off him. Today Drudge is pointing out the Chris Christie says that voters should consider Santorum’s Satan comments in deciding who to vote for.
I heard a clip from Leno this morning on the radio mentioning the “Satan” comment, and the audience just cracked up, like it was the punchline to the joke.
I think it’s safe to say that Satan has done a top-notch job of convincing the world he doesn’t exist.
We should NOT try to change minds on the abortion issue or the gay marriage issue, with this work.
We should instead approach them with the “Hey, I respect YOUR beliefs, but you are wrong to say that Social Conservatism is bad for the Republican Party Because history and statistics proves otherwise!”
Show the number of times gay marriage has been defeated at the polls, even in LIBERAL states.
Show the actual exit polls on the abortion issue. NRLC has often highlighted the “prolife increment” that shows that most of those who vote, single-issue, on abortion, vote prolife.
Show the fact that, when it comes to actual LEGISLATION, like Parental Consent, Parental Notification, Informed Consent, 3rd trimester bans, bans on tax funding of abortion, safety regs for abortion provider offices, etc., that the PROLIFE side wins majorities in ANY public opinion survey.
I am a Newt guy, but at this moment I think Rick S. has a real shot.
You Santorum folks need to do your research and come up with factual, statistical, historically accurate responses, however, if you want to help Rick fight off this garbage.

Show the squishy crowd and the Libertarian crowd that they are WRONG on the “electability” issue.
Then? The naysayers and cowards will be forced to admit that they are opposed to the social conservative message, itself, rather than “electability”.
This, alone, will SILENCE much of the opposition in RINO and Libertarian camps.
Sometimes Drudge is no better than the alphabet networks...carrying the water for the DUmbocrats.

Santorum isn’t jumping the shark. Don’t fall for the media spin. As Sarah Palin says, Satan is evil and unless we have blinders, it’s the culture stupid. 50 million babies slaughtered; rampant adultery; gay marriage, violence and cruelty like never before, children killing children, educational indoctrination on socialism and homosexuality; the menace of militant Islam, and the list goes on. Unless we have our heads buried in the sand, Gingrich is history. His negatives fall through the cellar, he has a 20+ point deficit with female voters, he was thrashed by Romney in FL where he lost big with every key demographic, his poll numbers in GA are plummeting, and even Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin are now moving into the Santorum camp. This is now a 2-man race where both Romney and Santorum are trailing Obama by a mere 2-4 points. Hop on board.
There's more than a few of the Newt's supporters here attacking Santorum's faith, quoting DUmocrat talking points or Romney's attack ads to prop up their flailing candidate. I guess they'd have also hated the founders who embedding their faith in EVERY speech.
I really wish Santorum would stop his whining and take the attacks like a man!

Myth is not injecting his religious believes into political discourse. Saint Rick is, attacking women who use contraception or work, attacking Protestants and now Mormons.
If you want to stop the slaughter of babies, you need to find a candidate who will win. Santorum would be lucky to be withing 20 points of Obama, once his outlandish holier-than-thou statements become known.

That's the reason you do not see demonic possession in the developed world like you do in the undeveloped world and like you do in the Bible. No reason to "hide" when people know you are there...but if you show people something they can't explain...then people may start looking for God.

Many working women know this guilt in hearts but do not want to accept it or think they have no choice or rationalize it in the interest of self actualization.

Newt deserves nothing. The "Smartest Man In the Room's" campaign is a shambles. He is the one who has actually crashed and burned by his own admission last week and by any other measurement you would like to use. He has pulled totally out of the MI contest and in his own firewall state, GA, he is even with Rick and Milt. Based on what? Do you really know how conventions work and who is in attendance there? Obviously not if you are daydreaming about this fabled brokered convention where somebody who didn't have the balls to step up to the plate when it counted and RUN will somehow be installed as the nominee. BC are a concept of a bygone era where we didn't have a Primary system set up. The closest either party got to one was the GOP in '76 and the Rats in '84 and both those situations were between candidates that ran in the Primaries and not some outsider. Name whoever your mythical unicorn candidate is going to be at this BC and explain to me where their support will come from when all the delegates at the convention will either be diehard supporters for one of the 4 candidates or establishment state party grandees?

Drudge and his buddy Coulter have been solidly in the Romney camp for a long time. Drudge attached Newt, now it’s Santorum’s turn. I still don’t get Coulter’s adoration of McRomney.

Exposing impostors like Santorum is not “deep seeded hatred”. It is known as properly vetting a candidate, which in Santorum’s case is long past overdue.
That is not true. You know why I know? Because if you don't recall, people critical of Newt here at that time were Zotted. All Santorum people kept their mouth shut and went with the flow.
You call Santorum an imposter. What makes his record worse that Newt? Santorum's beliefs and voting record has long been vetted. That is why Milt isn't able to destroy him in MI with his barrage of negative adds like Newt was hurt. You are wishing that people will jump on your "No social issues" bandwagon. It isn't happening is it. Rick is actually hitting a pocket of disaffected voters who have been waiting for this debate and fight.
I find it ironic that the media brought Satan into the public political discussion one day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent, the day Christians reflect on their sins and seek repentance. The Lenten period recalls the 40 days Jesus spent fasting in the desert, enduring the temptations of Satan.
Every interview, every debate will be dominated by cultural and religious issues. The man has been cut and is slowly bleeding to death in the water.
There is no recovery from this point.

And I also predicted Santorum will continue to slide. In fact I expect him to lose Michigan and AZ by at least 10 points.
That said I am often wrong, but I have strong opinions.
