Newt Gingrich took debate moderator John King to task for asking the candidates about contraception.
Gingrich said King and the rest of the "elite media" did not bother to ask the 2008 Democratic candidates about "infanticide."

Newt was awesome. Newt is the president that I want.
It was the memorable moment of the debate. Go Newt!
Newt’s been on a hard grind against media bias and it’s needed.
I compare them to running backs.
Santorum will hit the hole just as the play is designed, no matter what. You can count on it. No fumbles.
Doesn't matter if the hole is filled by two linebackers and a defensive end, he's going at that spot as hard and fast as he can.
Gingrich will hit the hole when it's open. When it's not he's looking for daylight. Sometimes he fumbles. Sometimes he looses 4 yards. In half his games he's over 100 yds and over 1500 yds per season. 20 touchdowns. 7 fumbles.
The MSM are quite accustomed to never being questioned as to their motives and agenda. RINOs will never go there. It takes the intellect of a Newt to go after them so well.
Tony Snow could and did slap them around, but that was in the WH press room, not on the national stage.
Good post. Home run!
Now everyone here knows that on debate nights Urkel hides under the desk in the Oval Office and craps himself while begging Valerie Jarret to “ Please don’t make me debate Gingrich”
Go, Newt!
They actualy are masking their advice to the government to attack CAtholics and doctors under the guise that they deny the "Civil Right" of contraception.
Might as well throw in my two cents, FWIW.
I can certainly be enthusiastic about either Rick or Newt, but this past week has shown that Newt is much more capable of campaigning strong in today’s media climate and this election in particular.
mittys lil buddy from mars is spot on.lmao
Which is exactly why, if Newt is the Republican nominee, there won't be any debates.
The eventual Republican nominee has got to be good at something besides debates.
That doesn't disqualify Newt -- but it should give everybody who's counting on Newt simply because he could wax Obama in a debate pause.
Keep that in mind. If Newt is the GOP nominee, there will be no presidential debates!
It sounds like Newt did well tonight. That makes me smile. Thanks for posting.
Newt is excellent on solutions from energy to reforming civil service and making their pay compatible with the private sector, to education, the borders, the middle east and having Jeruselem as the capitol of Israel and dealing with Iran, education, etc. There is no contest between the other candidates and Newt when it comes to solving or turning around the problems we deal with..check out Newt.org
I don’t see how Obama could avoid all debate and not be hurt by it. It’s unprecedented. How could he justify have no presidential debates the entire election season?
I really miss Tony. God bless him. It would be great to have another like him as the WH Press Sec. He was a solid conservative and came up through the press ranks so he really understood the mindset of the enemy. He always seemed up, positive and ready. He parried and thrust with a smile and kept those baying dogs chasing their own tails. Good man and I look forward to seeing him again someday.
“ Please dont make me debate Gingrich
I don’t think there is any law that says he must debate anyone. He certainly would refuse Newt.
The liberal media is already in uproar over the word Newt used to describe what Obama voted for: “infanticide”, but that’s the EXACT word.
When a doctor kills a viable new born baby, he is committing a crime of infanticide.
“In 1997, Obama voted against SB 230, which would have turned doctors into felons by banning so-called partial-birth abortion, and against a 2000 bill banning state funding. Although these bills included an exception to save the life of the mother, they didnt include anything about abortions necessary to protect the health of the mother. The legislation defined a fetus as a person, and could have criminalized virtually all abortion.”
Source: The Improbable Quest, by John K. Wilson, p.147-148 Oct 30, 2007
“Obama has consistently refused to support legislation that would define an infant who survives a late-term induced-labor abortion as a human being with the right to live. He insists that no restriction must ever be placed on the right of a mother to decide to abort her child.
On March 30, 2001, Obama was the only Illinois senator who rose to speak against a bill that would have protected babies who survived late term labor-induced abortion.
Obama rose to object that if the bill passed, and a nine-month-old fetus survived a late-term labor-induced abortion was deemed to be a person who had a right to live, then the law would “forbid abortions to take place.”
Obama further explained the equal protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment does not allow somebody to kill a child, so if the law deemed a child who survived a late-term labor-induced abortion had a right to live, “then this would be an anti-abortion statute.”

As State senator of Illinois, Obama practically voted against banning partial birth abortion.
Obamas record in Illinois represents that of a pragmatic progressive, who pushed for moderate reforms and opposed right-wing legislation. In the IL legislature, voting present is the equivalent of voting no because a majority of yes votes are required for passage.
Obama was rated 100% by NARAL on pro-choice votes in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
