Hope you like the recipe. I posted it on yesterday's thread because it turned out a lot longer than I expected, LOL!
BTW on Greg's prepper FB page I added paraffin wax as something to keep on hand. You can get it at canning supply stores but I used to get bricks of it cheaper at hardware stores. Don't know if there are any hardware stores left though

This Saturday, my brothers and others are going to take down a huge tree that’s threatening the house next to it. I’m going to cook for them - Sloppy Joes, homemade Fundrucker buns (Radall Flagg’s recipe), and JAMBALAYA!

Walmart has paraffin wax. I’ve also seen it at Lowes. I remember my mom using paraffin when she made grape jam. Funny you should mention it. I was thinking it would be a good idea to have it on hand. I buy canning inserts a couple of boxes at a time to be ahead. If I remember correctly, you don’t need the inserts and lids if you use wax?

Yeah, trouble with the pacemaker again - or something the doc did in preparation for putting in the pacemaker. Prayers are welcome. I don’t want him to have to go under the knife for a fourth time. I am so afraid something bad happens if they have to go in and ‘fix’ something.

I disagree with Rose’s assessment of Santorum last night on Iran. I think he handled the specifics (and that is what dealing with that part of the world) really well. His wonkishness works in there.

Yes, prayers up for mr s and Ladysmith as well. Last night my BIL who is going through the chemo was over and he is doing great, thank The Lord! He did mention that he is taking BP medicine and he does have some slight side effects but it’s usually only if he forgets to take it.
