That’s why the kitchen sink, the bathtub, and major appliances are being thrown at Santorum right now. CNN even went to what ever Scottish Law enforcing personal care home Arlen Specter resides at...and the Snarlin One parsed all around the discussion that he had with Santorum to get Santor and Bush on the PA campaign trail to support HIM (Toomey was rising in the polls and be was toast). Trouble is...some PA Rs who were in on the set up of that “tour” substantiate Santorum’s story.
Well, that’s a step above Paulbot level, since in Paulbot world, losing is actually winning.
Rush was right. This is a seminar caller. It is evidenced by how nervous he is with his slips of the tongue. His true thoughts are slipping through.
I saw that. He is throwing all his money and “plausible-denial,” vicious SuperPac into this race.
In all honesty, I don’t blame Romney for his tactics, I blame the general public for being that stupid and easily (mis)led.

You can listen to today’s Michael Smerconish interview with Specter at the link below. Scroll down to “SMERCONISH PODCAST HIGHLIGHTS”, and that interview is the first clip. The whole clip is about 10 minutes long, but you can skip right to about the 7:45 mark and listen to Specter explain that he assured Santorum that he had always supported the president’s nominees in the past, including Rehnquist, Scalia, et al, and that he would treat Bush’s nominees the same way he treated those nominees (wink, nod).

No, it’s his sneaky way of deflecting from the obvious truth that he’s in the bag for Romney.
Specter is so weasily. He is, no doubt, enjoying the attention he is now getting on this...and he is probably SOOOO very pi##ed that HE is not the former PA Senator running for Pres.
Btw, isnt Spector still chummy w/McLame? And hasn’t the McLame curse out of Santorum (over his partial birth abortion) in a Senate cloak room legendary?
