The funny part is what if you forge charge it over night and happily get inthe car drive 25 miles and voila......Nova
Greetings Tony in Hawaii:
Think I read this on PolitiFact, so it much be true: When Chevy Volt has the cigarette lighter option installed, the effective range is reduced from 40 to 4 miles.

Its a damned expensive golf cart is what it is.
Looks like it is blocking the view from the rear window. Anyway..does Obama drive a volt? does Pelosi? Algore? Biden? Barney Frank?
she could have ended the engineering machinations and installed a vertical gun rank which would hold most long guns.
Perhaps not enough clearance to vertical mount, either. Maybe roll down both windows on the Volt, and one of these gun racks might do the trick:

(H/T Badboybuggies.com) Full disclosure, we own an older model Bad Boy Buggy.

“The stick was a precaution. We didnt want our co-workers to get the wrong idea.”
These people are idiots.
After reading the stick precaution, I just had to post this drivel masquerading as serious political analysis.
Yes sir, the harmless "stick" has never been the source of deadly force in all mankind history.
Prosecutors: Man was beaten to death with stick over video game
On second thought. If the man kept sending Farmville requests; I might rule: "justifiable."

Clearly Gingrich hit a nerve with Obama’s media flacks. Why else would the “fact check” what was clearly a stump speech dig/joke.
“On second thought. If the man kept sending Farmville requests; I might rule: “justifiable.””
I don’t care who ya are - that’s funny. LOL.
It would never dawn upon media flacks to fact-check 0boma's "remarks on energy" campaign speech given at some university in Florida. Just another of 0bama's many travel layover stops between the taxpayer subsidized travels to various fundraising dinners and tee times.
Cheers,

Exactly. Newt used figurative language to show the limitations of electric cars like the Volt. The MSM is filled with morons called reporters.
More importantly, I have lots of room to dump lib bodies in the bed of my truck.
Having to cram that thrash into a Volt would be much more work, not cost effective and take the fun out of the hobby.
When you think that a 6 hour charge for this thing gives you the equivalent of one gallon of gas, that is quite a lot of equipment for one gallon of gas. And, quite a lot of inconvenience for one gallon of gas.
I just got back from a very large car show—one filled with Joe public instead of reporters.
In a display of brutal market honesty, the only company the Chevy Volt had was its twin sitting right next to it. Although positioned at the front of the main walkway, nobody even bothered looking in the direction of the two examples, they were utterly invisible to those walking by.
Speaking of future niche roles for liberals in society, did you catch this article:

What’s that blue handled gizmo in the bottom position? A pooper-scooper for her urban poodle?
Perhaps the Volts resembled a couple of empty beer cans laying along the roadside?
Maybe that's a little too generous, methinks scrappers would have recycled the volts.
Cheers,
OLA
I wonder if this stupid twat tried defining all 57 states to prove Obumbler correct. But if this is the only thing that Gingrich is wrong on, then Newt lambasting Barrie for his oral-apology-diarrhea is 100% correct.
And you can haul those guns up to 25 miles in any direction you choose - after you charge the Dolt for 10 hours.
