In The Third World, Unwanted Baby Girls 'Disappear’. It’s Called Gendercide. And It’s Happening In This Country, Too Those who abort unwanted babies because of gender should feel the full force of the law.

Prabha Sivaraman, who works for Pall Mall Medical in Manchester, filmed during a consultation with a pregnant woman By Allison Pearson 24 Feb 2012

In a children’s playground in Manhattan’s Central Park on a glorious, quickening spring Saturday, much like today, I was with my daughter by the climbing frame when a massed battalion of buggies came through the gates. The parents unleashed their precious cargo and a group of excited little girls swarmed towards us. It took me a few minutes to make sense of what I was seeing.

The parents were well-to-do New Yorkers in their forties or fifties, and all of them were white. The little girls had lustrous, dark hair, often chopped into a thick fringe, and adorable, intelligent brown eyes. They were perfect and beautiful. And they were rejects. Each and every one of them.

Chucked on the garbage heap of life; either abandoned outside an orphanage or left to die. Casualties of China’s one-child policy, those little girls, adopted by Americans who had left conception too late, are the lucky ones. Increasing numbers of their sisters are not permitted to be born. As soon as foetuses are big enough to be scrutinised on a $12 ultrasound scan, and are found to be lacking the critical male appendage, they are aborted.

And to those who claim that men are such dangerous creatures, I point out that during the past 40 years there have been about 800,000 murders, of both genders, committed by both genders. But there have been about 53,000,000 million abortions of both genders committed by one gender.

I’m struck by this author claiming in one breath that she fully supports abortion being “safe, legal, and rare,” yet she bemoans abortion in the case of the baby being a female. Based on the premise of her article, she admits that the female is indeed a baby, which would lead one to henceforth believe that she considers the baby a person - a person that shouldn’t be killed due to gender. Then she follows by giving a list of criteria in which it is acceptable for the woman to abort the child. She can’t see how detestable her own position is. In fact, she is worse than some pro-aborts who try to justify abortion by claiming the child within the womb is a nonperson. She can’t have it both ways. Once you open the door to abortion and make it legal under the guise of “a woman’s body, her choice,” you can’t impose arbitrary criteria. Either the child has the right to life or not. If you do impose arbitrary criteria, you will be accused of being “anti-choice” and “anti-woman”. Her feminism is in conflict with her support for abortion, a procedure the liberal feminists support. She’s in quite the conundrum. This conundrum can only be solved by her realization that the unborn child must always have the right to life. There is nothing anti-woman about standing up for both lives, the life of the woman and the child, and that can be done (unless the woman’s life is at stake) without having to sacrifice the life of one for the other.

until about the l930's, most mainline protestant denominations also forbade contraception.....how times, and teachings, change....pathetic.

And, alas, how we reap the consequences.

Many of them have come to the point where they freely admit that the baby in the womb is a person. I was flabbergasted to find this out. That is why they have funerals and remembrances of their aborted children. We have gotten to the point where for many the fact the baby is a person isn't the deciding point as to whether the baby should be killed or not.

It is amazing how evil falls upon it's own sword. Not only it it horribly immoral and treacherous but it cannot be sustained logically or in any other way. Hopefully some of these people will break through to the light and realize how deceived and evil their thinking and actions has been and come to The LORD who, thank God, is willing to forgive us no matter how evil we have been.

All left positions are inherently contradictory. At least insofar as I have examined them.

I'm not really seeing why this should be a problem for a liberal. It has three good liberal memes going got it.

1) It's the woman's choice. Isn't that the Holy Grail of liberalism and feminism?

2) It's a quaint little third world custom. How are our rigid, patriarchal ideas any better than theirs. We have so much to learn from these gentle third peoples.

3) Women are the bottleneck in population growth. Less women, less population growth. Mother Gaia WINS. Green Eden will be upon us.

So what liberal argument can be made against it?

True. The now deceased abortionist Tiller used to have "funerals" for the babies he killed. I think Tiller was mentally ill myself.

We have gotten to the point where for many the fact the baby is a person isn't the deciding point as to whether the baby should be killed or not.

It's very frightening, isn't it?

From the article. “ All the backward societies on earth repress and undervalue their girls and even murder those yearning to be born.”

So it’s murder when done against girls because they are girls but any other time it’s just termination of a pregnancy. Glad I am up to speed now.
