Sounds like he was in the same theater as we were! We watched this movie with 20 of our closest friends, a group which refers to itself as the “Old Goats” all parents of active duty Navy, Marine Corps and Army officers.
It was a sobering experience, and as the author states, “God bless America, our warriors who protect her, and those involved with this movie. Amen.”

At the movie last night, I sitting next to a couple whose son is a SEAL currently deployed to Afghanistan (we think). He told them that there is nothing in this movie about SEAL tactics that is not aleady in the public domain.
My brother just sent me a text:

On a side note, the SEALs are now in the cross hairs of the Diversity Police. There are not enough blacks in their ranks for them to pass muster.
Being the best of the best is evidently “racist” to the “liberal” crowd if blacks are not proportionately represented in the same percentages as in the general population.
Just another front of cultural Marxism in the war to destroy this great nation.
And really, how likely is it that a recruit with personality flaws is going to make it into the program, let alone make it through BUD/S?
I certainly don't. They are so suffused and saturated with squalor and decadence that they are unable to see anything else. People so afflicted are incapable of doing anything but churning our garbage.

And you are absolutly right. It is a powerful propaganda machine that spreads squalor and decadence and, most basic of all, contempt for truth.
The people who do this are blinded by their own decadence and their own contempt for truth. They cannot see anything else. And they thus cannot understand and do not care how dangerously they are misleading enormous numbers of people.
Go see the movie and pay very careful attention to "Senior's" speech about each man in the unit needing to have their life in order (he calls it "balance"), living full lives without regret, so that the team would be in harmony for the mission.
Then try telling me about the biggest complaint being the SEALS don't have personality flaw's. These are MEN, living their lives to the FULLEST with their families and their team, knowing their next mission may be their last.
If only the rest of us had the COURAGE to live our lives that way!

My theater was sold out. And that was at 4 in the afternoon.
Hollywood is too smug in what it things is "right" and too morally corrupt to know the difference between right and wrong.
