Another stinking sell-out.

I am really beginning to hate the GOP establishment.

Hi CofA-

In a related matter: I just received an e-mail from VCDL indicating we need to e-mail Gov McDonnell to encourage him to sign the repeal of “One Gun A Month;” as, apparently, he has gone “wobbly” after the latest e-mail/telephone barrage of Dem-organized “outrage.”

I think many will be looking for a replacement to the GOP after this election is over. The primary season has certainly vividly illustrated that those of us outside the Beltway/NYC will never be granted equal or fair treatment from the GOP power brokers.

Personally, I intend to further investigate Jamie Radke’s senatorial campaign; as I don't see George Allen as being anything much better than the usual “go along/get along” flavor of Republicanism.

I fully realize that, for now, our goal has to be to coalesce and concentrate on defeating and replacing Obama and his many neo-Marxist henchmen. That said, the future reality is that the GOP-E will continue to disappoint Conservatives. The elitists will stagger and stumble incrementally Leftward w/every election cycle; while the Dem Berzerkers will always be energized and organized to make quantum leaps beyond the farthest known Leftward horizons each and every time they hold the scepter of political power.

There are just too many in the GOP political class, and it's related media and business affiliations, whose sole, vested interest is in maintaining the current “inside the Beltway” power structure; regardless of the consequences to the American people and the Republic.

At least the current election cycle has opened many more eyes to the dangers of trusting implicitly in the GOP-E. Similarly, the recent emphasis on the issue of religious freedom has amplified the realization that the Dem Left is a very real danger to our Republic and a grave threat to individual rights and freedom. Perhaps, now that the “Sleeping Giant” seems to be awakening, it can be motivated and energized to move and take a stand.

Take care,

-Geoff
