Julianne feels Palin’s pain
New York Post ^ | February 26, 2012 | ROBERT RORKE

Posted on 02/26/2012 8:12:21 AM PST by ConservativeStatement

After walking a mile in Sarah Palin’s pumps, actress Julianne Moore has sympathy for the former Alaska governor.

“I do think the situation that she was put in was a completely untenable one,” said Moore (far right), who matched the look of the one-time vice-presidential candidate (near right) — down to her trademark glasses — to play Sarah in the upcoming HBO movie “Game Change.”

Palin burst onto the national scene when Sen. John McCain plucked her from Alaskan obscurity to be his running mate in 2008. The film, written by Danny Strong and co-starring Ed Harris as McCain, focuses on Palin’s sudden rise to popularity — and her refusal to toe the political line. It is set to air on March 10.

I believe that Ms. Moore is having pangs of conscience and realizing just how unfair what she has just done...Sarah is the best example of a true American woman you can find, and I am starting to think some of these asshole leftist feminazis are starting to realize it

Robert Rorke is the one who needs glasses if he thinks Julianne Moore matched the look of the one-time vice-presidential candidate. Not even close.

Let me guess. The actress (who reads lines for a living) feel’s bad for her because she’s so dumb and wasn’t ready.

Typical liberal spin.

I was offered free HBO yesterday as part of a Comcast promo. I told them to pound sand.

I have neither sympathy nor respect for 99.9% of Hollywood. They’ll have to make their millions without any help from me.

Not many fields in which you can rise to such levels of fame and fortune by spitting in the face of well over half of your potential customers...

I wish cable would let us pick and choose our channels more. HBO and Showtime are the only movie channels to which we subscribe but we pay over $120 per month for cable and do not watch a dozen of the hundreds of channels we receive. Such a waste but no option.

I canceled Comcast two months ago. The reason I told them is that it is an incontrovertible fact Comcast employees are the single most donors to Obama and the DNC and they didn't need another dime from me.

Strip down to just internet or basic and then get a Netflix account and premium Hulu.

You can stream all the movies and shows you probably would want to see.

But I do not want ot do that. I want subscriptions to HBO and Showtime. (We just cancelled Cinemax.) I want the option to cut the myriad of channels we do not watch. Time Warner is in the catbird seat and they know it.

The cable and satellite TV companies are in total denial when it comes to cord-cutting. After over 15 years with DirecTV, we cancelled December, 2010 and never looked back. It was a long, rocky year until DSL finally became available, but now we have a Netgear box and my husband loves it.

And Julienne Moore may be a decent actress, but she’s not pretty enough to portray Sarah.

I wish Julianne would shut her giant, boney face.

Moore is a really good actress and yes, Palin is prettier, but I was amazed at her make up, hair, etc and how much she looked like Palin. I am looking forward to the movie.
I am glad you are happy with Netgear. We are going to stick to Time Warner. I am just complaining.I have to accept what they offer and the price or change and I am not willing to change. Does not mean I am going to stop complaining though. Not that they care.

Ann Barnhardt stated that conservatives could really cripple the left if we would just cancel our television subscription services...of course; most won't do it.

i gave up tv when they switched to analog

i don’t pay one thin dime for Hollyweird to give to liberal causes

my friend downloads pirated vids from chinese websites when i just haveto see a new movie thats out...if it hits the theatres today, he’ll have it in three to five days

i also stopped paying taxes the day obama came into office, increased my giving instead...why should i fund the takeover of my country by a hostile foreign entity?

and depending on the coming election, i may be going expatriate at the end of the year, so i’ve got a better purpose than funding Zero’s next vacation
