Rick Warren is a fool and likely a fraud.
I am not a follower of Rick Warren’s New Age brand of religion. I prefer Charles Stanley, and Adrian Rogers, whose messages are taken directly and properly from the Holy bible.
Warren’s “feel good” message reminds me of that sacrilege book, “The Shack” There is a Heaven and there is certainly a hell. Read “Twenty Three Minutes in Hell”. It is high time that the clergy returns to fire and brimstone pontificating for all sinners, as well as the Love of God for those whose names are written in the Book of Life.
In order for good to prevail, good must recognize evil, not to condone it, but to demolish it vigorously with God’s own Law. How many times I have said, “Without God there can be no America”; no freedom, no peace, no family or private property, and ultimately no life worth living.
The Bible says in the last days false prophets shall abound, and they certainly seem to be lurking around every corner these days! (read”The God Makers”.
I pray that the scales drop from the eyes of non believers while there is still time.
Muslims do not worship God. They worship the scribblings of a twisted fanatical pedophile.

Right on -- and that's what I was getting at. The devil will appear to be charismatic, intelligent and eloquent, all in an effort to persuade believers and unbelievers alike.
Love me some Stanley and Rogers. Add Chuck Swindoll, Dr Vernon McGee, and Dr Jeff Adams. No compromise when it comes to the Gospel, and the literal, historical, and grammatical interpretation of the Bible.

Comment: Even I, a "bloomin heathin," recognize that Islam and Chriatianity do not hold the same concept of God!
Just to note a few differences:
Muslims believe Jesus was not divine, He was not crucified, Mary was not a virgin when she gave birth to Him, humans are not made in the image of God, Jesus will be secondary to Mohammed in the afterlife, and there is no atonement.
Now how can this idiot say that we worship the same God? Does he not understand the great responsibility he holds as a pastor to not mislead souls?
Rick Warren never fails to disappoint. Why not preach the Gospel, which by the way is completely at odds with Islam.
Saddleback Church will lose a lot of members as a result.

Good point. I was wondering about that as well -- whether they would refuse to put up with this, or whether they would just blindly follow what he says.
