Submission to Islam has been institutionalized by our national security apparatus. The official handling of the Fort Hood massacre proves the case.
On November 5, 2009, Major Nidal Hasan, a U.S. Army psychiatrist who had previously served at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, shot 45 of his fellow soldiers at the deployment center at Fort Hood in Texas, killing thirteen. It was the most deadly shooting attack ever on an American military base. Maj. Hasan, who had been scheduled to deploy to Afghanistan, was charged with murder and attempted murder, but not terrorism. His court-martial will begin next month. Meanwhile, Maj. Hasan continues to receive military pay, as well as free medical care and legal representation from the Army.
Immediately after the shootings, President Obama called Hasan's actions "inexplicable" and suggested that he may have "cracked" under stress. The media followed suit, emphasizing the stress of treating soldiers emotionally scarred by war, and insinuating that Hasan had been unfairly picked on by his colleagues. One talking head said "we may never know if religion was a factor" in the killings. Another lamented that Hasan had failed to "reach out for help." In reality, Hasan had long exhibited bizarre, menacing behavior that would have gotten him kicked out of the Army several times over if not for his protected status as a Muslim. The sympathetic disinformation was intended to hide Hasan's actual purpose -- to kill as many infidel American soldiers as possible for Allah.

Make that 14 killed. They always ignore the baby.
Ping!
With its political correctness, the US Govt is the most pro-sharia institution that exists in the world.
By slavishly following and attending to every radical Muslim grievance, and treating Islam as a uniform monolith from Afghanistan to N. Virginia (which it is not) - they are fully promoting the notion of the supremacy of Islam. They are doing more than Osama bin Laden ever hoped to achieve.
A muslim went nuts on a plane last week screaming Allah is Great and the AP reported it as a dispute over and electronic cigarette. The TSA said it wasn’t a security concern.
I caught that too. They fumbled all over themselves so as not to piss off muslims. It wasn't a security risk for two reasons: 1) It was an electronic cigarette (Let's make it about that) 2) The allah loving nutjob was subdued swiftly and decidedly by some passengers that apparently percieved a potential security risk in the making.
With this and other actions by the military, many still believe they would stand down if ordered to go against Joe and Joanna Average US Citizen in troubled times. I’m not confident that enough would disobey orders.
Oh come on, everyone knows this was just a typical incident of “Workplace Violence”.
The very first sentence in the article explains it all — we are rapidly becoming islamicized and all congresscritters stand by silently. Congress has failed by not abiding by their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution.
All this talk and planning about improving the economy is pure BS considering the rapid growth of Islam in this country.
Ever seen a socially, culturally or economically successful Muslim country? I guess we’re waiting for an Arab Spring to happen here, huh?
Just imagine that the Islamoterrorist was instead a white military officer who shot and killed ONE muslim.
He would have been tried, convicted and either put to death or sentenced to life without parole within 3 months of the incident.
All we have to do is look at other countries that placate radical Islam to see that bowing to their leaders and their acts of violence is seen by them as complete weakness.

In a liberal’s mind a smoker is 100X the threat of a peace loving muslim brandishing a gun.
Why hasn’t this POS already been tried and sent to a firing squad is beyond me.
Let me add: in a combat zone...

Sitting around the kitchen table yesterday talking current events with family I stated, Islam in this country is our biggest threat, not the debt or economy.
All agreed.
And big sis Jan kept silent on the matter, in fact she has been hushed up now for several months... I have not heard any statements she has made lately... what is up with that I wonder.
Holder’s Just-us Department refers to this incident as “workplace violence”.
Remember the take away quote from this whole episode:
With 14 dead, many more wounded, innocent lives and families shattered forever, we have the contemptible General George Casey saying:
“....what happened at Fort Hood was a tragedy, but I believe it would be an even greater tragedy if our diversity becomes a casualty here.”
We are SO diverse now we let enemies of our country join our military.
You and your family are one of the few enlightened groups in this country.
Our least enlightened group is that disfunctional bunch of congresscritters that have only their own intersts in mind.
Not only join, but be promoted and "succeed" in every measurable parameter. Benedict Arnold would be a 'security consultant' for this crowd.

Thanks. Maybe I’ll repost it in the “Oscars” thread....
EXCELLENT article. I’ve been waiting for someone to tell us more about that loser Hasan. Great job Mr. Swett.
Thanks, MAF.
Thanks for the ping!
Welcome back!

Ouch.
According to testimony at the Article 32 hearing, the mother's last words were "My Baby My Baby".
RumInt picked up around the area, says that the same bullet killed both of them.
You'd think the killer yelling "Allahu Akbar" as he shot soldiers, medical personnel and an unborn infidel, would have been a wee bit of a hint.
Ijits.
One reason is we don't firing squads anymore.
More's the pity, I not too long ago read the last manual for execution that did allow for firing squad or the rope.. Very enlightening. It did not cover death by the Big Sleep.
Although I'd have to stand in line, I'd volunteer for that squad, or to push the plunger on the syringe hooked to his IV.
As to why they haven't had the Court Martial yet, I don't know. But for now he's resting in the medical section of the Bell County jail, since the stockade at Ft. Hood doesn't have facilities for paralyzed prisoners.
BTTT
Of course! We mustnt offend tender Muslim sensibilities. < /sarcasm >

Excellent but digusting point. Members of our military are given monumental tasks to perform and are required to do so with an anti-military media more than willing to fabricate lies regarding the conduct of those brave, honorable and competent men and women. Members of our military are executing missions on a daily basis that would make the members of the media wet themselves if they were placed in real combat.

It IS a disgusting point. I certainly wasn't trying to make light of it. What you point out is exactly correct. I've been reading Can War be Just? This article among others is making me think that Rules of Engagement are immoral and demand more of the soldier in a combat zone than can be morally justified. I've felt that way since badly written R.O.E. contributed to our Marines being killed in Beirut in 1983.
