Star of TV’s Parenthood, Dax Shepard, compared the pro-U.S. military film that stars actual Navy SEALs, Act of Valor to Adolf Hitler's Triumph of the Will. On his Twitter feed the one time Ashton Kutcher prank boy from Punk'd wrote: "Saw 'Triumph of the Will' tonight, oh wait, I mean 'Act of Valor' great action." Apparently the reaction to Shepard's obnoxious tweet, comparing this week's #1 movie starring active duty Navy Seals to a Nazi propaganda movie was immediate, as he attempted to walk back his comments. I don’t recall any Acts of Valor portrayed in the Nazi propaganda film, Triumph of The Will. It was all Nazi Party gatherings and speeches, Hitler photo ops and SA,SS and Wehrmacht parade formations. There was no war footage (it was made in ‘34 I think, 5 years before the actual start of WWII.) These jackasses don’t know propaganda unless it bit ‘em in their brains, I mean their asses if they think Acts of Valor was propaganda. What these morons are really saying is anything that is patriotic or shows the pride of our brave men and women in the service risking their lives for our safety and way of life is propaganda. As far as I’m concerned, if they don’t like it, then they can go enjoy life where propaganda really exists, communist china, north korea or cuba, or just about any islamic country.

Walking out of the theater tonight my friends & I were commenting that all of Congress and the MSM talking heads & management should be forced to watch the movie in the company of SEALs & their families.
After they finished watching (including ALL of the credits and dedication), Congress & the MSM would have sit through a question and answer session wherein THEY would answer to the SEALS & families.
Put the whole thing on CSPAN, or better yet, Pay Per View, with the proceeds going to the SEAL widows & orphans.
I liked him in “Idiocracy”. Looks like that was a casting home-run.

“Triumph of the Will” was an astonishingly well done piece of propaganda or cinema too.
I did notice one thing interesting. When Hitler was talking to the masses, he came across as a very decent person with good goals for the German People.
Then they showed him addressing his followers in a closed auditorium and he came across as a lot more hard edged.

Well at least he is being used to advertise the movie. I hadn’t heard of it, watch very few movies, but now might see this one.
I guess this idiot doesn’t relalize that “right wingers” USED to go to movies, etc.! Or, at least, this one did. Now I can’t stand the thought of putting money in the pockets of people who hate me.
