Not sure, I thought his strategy of emphasizing social issues and “the true Conservative” was a pretty good one, because it’s a place Romney won’t go. And while it didn’t upset Romney in his “home state”, Santorum had a very strong showing and it will play well elsewhere.

From what most of the exit polls are saying, it was Santorum’s “social conservative” label that is hurting him most. The voters want a proven economic/business executive/expert to fix this broken economy. Which is why Newt is starting to rejuvenate all of a sudden. No more trainees!
