Happy Leap Day
LOL.
My favorite “bad” guy, was a woman named “Mags” but she isn’t on this season.
I love it; but I don’t have much of a “filter”.
Speaking of Pawn Stars- have you watched Cajun Pawn Stars?
FR slow today?
Cajun Pawn Stars is just OK, kind of too much like regular Pawn Stars. You know the price has already been negotiated, it seems they never get burned. I don’t care for American Restoration for the same reasons either, same old same old.
Wait till you have children Danica. You’ll grow up then.
FR seems a lot faster than normal to me?
Everyone that I know who voted in the primary yesterday told me that they voted for Mitt. They only did so because of his “electibility.” It is very depressing that even my fellow conservatives have fallen for the elite’s bait....
I like American Restoration, but I don’t pay attention to the money part - I love the things they restore, etc.
I like Cajun Pawn stars okay. Getting turned off by American Pickers because they are kind of rude, imho, when someone doesn’t want to sell them something. Most of the time, it seems as if the money is all they care about; which is fine, but then don’t be on the History Channel. I’m interested in the backstory.
Is it true Mittens and Rick will split delegates in MI? It seems that way here.
http://www.cbsnews.com/primary-election-results-2012/scorecard.shtml?party=R
My computer - I didn’t realize I had Adobe open. I hate .pdf files. Slow down my computer something fierce.
Of course, the FB tab in which I’m harassing the Mittbots could also be part of the problem.
It seems as if it is either going to be 16 - 14 split or a 15-15 split.
I like Pickers because they actually seem to negotiate. I don’t see it as “rude” as much as an essential part of their business. Pawn Stars, et al, you know they carefully pick who and what they show, Pickers you get to see what they turn down and or don’t get to buy more often than the other shows. These reality shows have gotten really contrived, don’t get me started on Top Shot *blech* and I’m an avid shooter, they are so predictable I want something new I guess.
I don’t get how it works. 16-14 would be how I’d think but some are saying 15-15.
Bottom line it’s hardly a loss for Rick.
that is my findin here in Phoenix.....they believe Romney is the best shot at kickin Obama to the curb
Santorum is seen as whimpy here ...i.e. no man card
Newt scares hell outta the border issue folk in leu if SB 1070
I think they have too many of those pawn shop/antique picker/storage auction type shows already, and I wish they’d move on to a new trend.
I still like Antiques Roadshow best ;o)
OReilly This is not a partisan analysis. When President Obama took office, I knew he was an income redistribution guy. In fact, I challenged him on that in our first interview during the 2008 campaign. But once elected I decided to give the president a chance to see if his economic vision, big government management of the economy, could turn things around.
Gosh, I thought the AR they just did in Pittsburgh was boring (all three parts).
I had to try to watch because my lib office mate said she had a walk-by, but there just wasn’t much of interest this time, for some reason. Not even the carved rhino horn that was worth $350,000.
AR is certainly good.
As long as you don’t mind wearing out the MUTE switch on all those simpering twits on PBS.
(We’ve got a bunch of ‘em on Montana PBS who absolutely make my hair hurt....)
I like Antiques Roadshow.
I think Frank just gets on my nerves and I don’t care about bicycles, so Mike bores me. lol.
I pretty much know what I’m seeing is filmed and edited down; but I do like the characters on Pawn Stars. I mean...Chum Lee c’mon. lol.
Something to do with number of counties or precincts won or some such rule. We need uniformity in the primary process, imho.
The internet shows that Troglodyte came out in 1972.
Oh, no!
I just heard that Davy Jones of the Monkees died of a heart attack!
I like Antiques Roadshow, too.
Unfortunately, the good shows will be lost because of the current flood in the market. :(
I know!
So sad. :(
Shocked to hear this! He was fairly young.
He was 66.
This is hard to believe, because he was my first pre-pre-pubescent crush. (I go way back . . .)
No, a whore, Rush. Paid to have sex=whore
A slut gives it away for free. ;)
way back is waitin til the end of the OZZIE and HARRIOT SHOW to see Ricky Nelson sing
What does that make Fluke? It makes her a DEMOCRAT!
I actually thought Pittsburgh was fascinating, all three parts. I kept thinking they had lots of different things I hadn’t seen before and wondered how the heck they got to the Burgh of all places?
Rush's last segment was hysterical... I can't believe Rush played the entire Troglodyte song, LOL. I haven't heard that thing in years! I'm old enough to remember when that song was played over and over on "Top 40" radio stations...
My father used to wait around after the vaudeville show to see Mae West.
(Actually he didn’t, but he was old enough to.)
This lady on with Rush sounds a little like Sarah, doesn’t she?
Too many familiar faces keep leaving us. I feel so mortal.
We’re not exactly a backwater, you know . . . we even have a few museums and a real symphony. ;-)
Do they sell Noot kneepads?
Bertha Butt, the “Butt Sisters” still makes me giggle like I’m back in 6th grade.
Probably a member of the FReeper Stasi.
I’m so sick of hearing how last place is really first place or how results don’t matter unless Gingrich wins. So far, the only primary some are willing to admit was worth anything is South Carolina.
Where are the reasonable and rational people? Nooter Tooters are starting to sound like Paulbots.
Just an observation...as I take a break from shovelling “globull warming” ,,,.but next time you see Santorums daughter standing behind him and smiling....tell me you don’t think she resembles a female version of Stan Laurel ;-)
I’ve been hummin the tune all mornin....as a kid we used to invent dances singin it.......
To be honest, I am not sure. I depend on my fellow Troglodyte Cripplecreek for his expertise.....
Creek, Can you confirm the actual delegate split in MI?
Have you tried one of those $80 electric snow blowers yet? They work pretty good and they always start.
was worried about ya...I commented somewhere up post....damn the state is gettin some series weather
Botox Republicans, ha!
Im too cheap to buy a snow blower. For several years, I had 2 God-given snow blowers —more commonly refered to as “sons” ;-)
I b*tch about shovelling now, but it is darned good exercise :-)
We have had an unusually mild winter thusfar, and it is a proven fact that we ALWAYS have blizzard conditions during state basketball and hockey tournamnent time.
There must have been total withdraw because no Idol thread last night.
Oh Yeah, Happy Leap Year!
Thanks! I’ll check it out...\and see you later on the Levin thread..
[TRANSLATION FROM MINNYSODA SPEAK]:
It's snowed some, but we're still not forced to dig tunnels through the crap to get out the front door. (By golly.)
I'm upwind 800 miles, and we've just now started to have a proper winter. Spring along The Highline could be a real crock of crap this year.
