PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, February 24, 2012, (LifeSiteNews.com) The nation’s number one talk show host drew attention to Barack Obama’s history of supporting infanticide on Friday’s show.
Discussing this week’s CNN debate in Mesa, Arizona, Rush Limbaugh told his listeners said the president’s vote against the Illinois version of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act in 2001, 2002, and 2003 amounted to “the most shocking and underreported significant story I can ever remember.”
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich raised the issue of Obama’s support for infanticide after CNN debate moderator John King asked the presidential hopefuls a question about birth control.
The question met with loud audience disapproval, as it was widely interpreted as intended to embarrass Rick Santorum.
Gingrich, who replied first, objected that in 2008, not once did anybody in the elite media ask why Barack Obama voted in favor of legalizing infanticide.
If were going to have a debate about who the extremist is on these issues, it is President Obama who, as a state senator, voted to protect doctors who killed babies who survived the abortion, Gingrich said. It is not the Republicans.
As a state senator, Barack Obama voted against a bill that would require abortionists to provide care to an infant who is born alive during the course of a failed abortion. The legislation was brought forward after Jill Stanek, a nurse at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, exposed abortionists practice of abandoning babies born alive after failed abortions, leaving them to die in a hospital utility room.
President George W. Bush signed the federal version of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act in 2002. The federal bill passed the U.S. House in an overwhelming 380-15 vote, with a majority of outspokenly pro-abortion representatives supporting the legislation. Even after NARAL withdrew its opposition to the federal version of the bill, Obama had continued to oppose the state version.
We talked about it during the 2008 campaign,” Limbaugh told an audience of millions. “Nobody wanted to hear it. The hopey-change thing was just too big of a theme.
Newt had the courage to use the word ‘infanticide,’” he said. “It’s exactly what was being defended. And unbelievable as this may sound to those of you who never heard about this, every word of it is true.”
All four Republican candidates voiced their opposition to the HHS mandate, as well.
How can anybody even consider voting for Obama?
Well 90 something percent of American blacks are voting for this marxist punk because he is BLACK.
Great freaken qualification huh?
under reported in large part because:
1) John McLame ran a pu$$y campaign...
2) the GOP was and still is afraid to take obama to task on anythong and choose to fight like little girls...
this is a winning issue for the GOP....immigration can easily be a winning issue for the GOP if they approach the correct way....yet they sit on their hands like little girls..
and $5.00 per gallon gas.
Why is he in the White House?
“Why is he in the White House?”
Because he is a black liberal.
Possible exception...Obama's lack of natural born citizenship.
I use the Obama infanticide story as my trump card whenever I debate my liberal acquaintances. Most have never heard of it. I usually get: “If that were true, I would have heard of it,” or other vague denials. I am constantly amazed at how often liberals are seriously uninformed on issues that the average Freeper knows like he knows his own name. A couple of clichés come to mind: Ignorance is bliss. And, at least for the present, everyone is entitled to an opinion.
“Well 90 something percent of American blacks are voting for this marxist punk because he is BLACK.”
It might not be a bad idea if each of us write a short letter to the editor, and/or call a talk show reminding voters of the Black Holocaust, as well as the fact that Obama voted for infanticide.
“Why is he in the White House?
I’m having trouble with the fact that he is not polling below 20%. How many useful idiots do we have in this country?
Speaking of “unreported” stories. Santorum either tied or won Michigan if the objective is to garner enough delegates to win the election. According to Rush there’s one congressional district still compiling votes. If Santorum wins it he’s up 17-13 in Michigan delegates, if Romney wins it we have a 15 all tie.
"Possible exception...Obama's lack of natural born citizenship."
Either Limbaugh doesn't consider treason 'significant', or he couldn't 'remember'.
Either way he's a putz.
Only a barbaric society would think infanticide is ok. Fortunately only the democrat liberals fall into this category
as they are the epitome of evil like their hero in the White House
But he's way more an important Conservative than you or I will ever be....
History will prove that out...You Godebert and me Osage Orange...will be not mentioned.
Rush will be remembered! And rightly so.

“Barack Obama voted against a bill that would require abortionists to provide care to an infant who is born alive during the course of a failed abortion. “
This isn’t some make believe horror story. This is real.
How much clearer does it get? We are defined by what we do next. If it’s not too late.
What I’ll remember most about him is he remained silent when his voice was needed most. I don’t bother to listen to him anymore.
It would be very interesting to find out that he isn't.

Every story out there is he's half WHITE, and half BLACK.
The very fact that he run's as a "black" man...proves the old Hawaiian surfer / local thing.
Didn't matter much if you were white and could surf better than the local "brown skinned" "bro's"....unless you just shredded way better!! Even then..it was very hard to be accepted.
It was all about color!! Period. Half brown, half black...didn't matter..you were in, over the white guy.
If you look at a picture of him next to, say, a picture of Bin Laden he really isn’t any darker and maybe lighter. Since we really are not sure of anything about him including who his father really is we cannot say for sure what nationality he is. Many people around the world are dark and even very dark without being African. There are people out there who are convinced that the black thing with him is as fake as the rest of him.
It deserves a bump.
The most interesting thing about his outright eagerness to kill a baby the mother didn’t want is that, of course, he WAS THAT BABY.
We have FReepers here who were born from their mother’s rape. They identify with this subject too, but on the other side.
Barack Obama probably felt unwanted his whole childhood. No father. His mother got rid of him in mid childhood. He says now he doesn’t want hs daughters punished with a baby.
He feels deep down that he was just a punishment to his mother. He didn’t seem to care for her much and she sure died conveniently days before the election. Once you haveno respect for your own existence, what great harm you could do to others without one drop of guilt?
“Gingrich, who replied first, objected that in 2008, ‘not once did anybody in the elite media ask why Barack Obama voted in favor of legalizing infanticide.’
This is why I idolized Newt when I was a little punk kid learning about what is to be a Conservative. He always told the truth, no matter how inconvenient it was. It’s also why I support him now as an adult.
