Davy Jones. I was shocked when I heard . The oldest and youngest in our office said “who?”. The several people around my age said “Oh no! From the Monkees?!!!” I remember dancing to the Monkees in 7th grade. And the first album I ever owned was a Monkees album. I heard Peter Tork turned 70 recently!!!!!

Yes, red today. I have on a shirt with red plaid kinda in it. Later today I might make some cock a leaky soup but just enough for me. Youngest son won’t like it and mrs p6 will be with daughter tonight.
Basically it’s just a chicken rice soup with some chopped leaks and bacon in it. I leave out the prunes...

Happy St. David’s day to all! Sad about Davey Jones:( I actually saw he in person a couple of times. He was probably about 5’4ish—and even in this 40s and up (when he did his retro tours) he still had that “cute” look happening.
I don’t like March...I dunno...it’s all superstitious...but March is my least favorite month. It has two “good days” St. Patrick’s Day (I get a bottle of Bailey’s every year as a gift—homage to my ethnicity) and the 31st (next to youngest bday (I tried to make it to Aprils Fool Day....but couldn’t make it). So March....pfffft!
There has been so much going on everyone is probably taking a breather!

On the the afternoon Rush thread I think we both got admonished for Bakelite talk (i swear my m-i-l had a few pieces where the went who knows?). I fear banishment “there” as I also have happily participated in candle talk as well, if I ever breach “craft talk” when Rush is on I know I will get a (pleasantly scented) candle ZOT.

I collect (ok, am addicted to) vintage costume jewelry and have over 2,500 pieces. They’re probably worth a grand total of $38. I wish I knew how to make or at least repair things.
