Modesto police are investigating if there's a criminal case against a former high school teacher who resigned his job to move into an apartment with an 18-year old girl he met while teaching.
James Hooker, 41, was placed on administrative leave Feb. 3 by Modesto City Schools and resigned less than three weeks later, according to a report at the Modesto Bee.

It is the governments role to keep teachers from having sex with their students, not matter their age. The man is a dirty old man. Any 41 year old male that thinks it’s okay to have sex with an 18 year is disgusting.

Seriously, what kind of family would accept a son-in-law like that? Maybe when she gets some miles on her (and a few kids), he’ll trade her in for a new model too.
And for the reading challenged in this forum—if you believe that she was of legal age when they hooked up, I want some of what you’re smoking.
Just because they’re consenting adults doesn’t make it any more morally acceptable.
For the record, I was a lot better looking than that at 18, and I wasn’t boinking any of my teachers either ;) I waited a few years and got me a good looking military man.
