Gingrich campaign declares Rick Santorum has a ‘Jimmy Hoffa problem’ (Campaign Audio at link)

In a sign of where Newt Gingrich thinks he can – or needs to – gain ground, his GOP presidential campaign on Thursday launched a round of robocalls in both Oklahoma and Tennessee, accusing Rick Santorum of being a union lackey.

My AJC colleague Daniel Malloy, who has been traveling with Gingrich, says campaign spokesman R.C. Hammond has been trying out a new line, saying Santorum must deal with his “Jimmy Hoffa problem” — explaining “why he tried to bury his big-labor voting record in the end zone of this primary.” The robocall is Gingrich’s first paid-media swipe at Santorum.

-snip-

Santorum has said he supports right to work laws but he did not want to override his own state of Pennsylvania, which did not have a right-to-work law. Georgia and most Southern states do.

Newt is doing the Liberal Twins, Ron Paul & Willard’s bidding. Well, at least there are no more debates. It would have been three against one.

What...did Rick sit on a love seat with Jimmy Hoffa for a PSA? I must have missed that.

I have listened to the ad. Sounds fine to me. The media never vetted Santos so a lot of people don't even know that he has close ties to pro labor groups.

Yeah, should be good. Same hour as Huck’s regular weekend show. And a great format with no chance for any candidate to go negative. Also, Uncle Whiner won’t be there. Good!

Btw, hopefully Huck remembers how Willard outspent him 17 to one with tons of mudslinging ads and misleading robo-calls. Then reminds Willard the Lib that he (Huck) wound up with more delegates ( :

As for Huck, Rick, and Newt — they get along great although Huck has always teased Rick for endorsing Willard over him in ‘08. “Rick, what were you thinking?”

They also don’t know his 2006 campaign - yes the one he lost by 18 points - I think the biggest loss in PA senate history - was the wimpiest ,weeniest ,most moderate butt kissing campaign ever run.

The problem is that I’manutjob thinks it is Islam’s responsibility to kill all those infidels because they are, in their judgement, satanic . In the case of Christianity, you at least have a chance to renounce Satan before you die. If you don’t God, will deal with you himself on the day of judgement. With Christianity, there is grace. With radical Islam, there is no grace. Big difference.

The Left always tries to confuse people with the idea that Christianity is just as dangerous as radical Islam. This confusion causes people to think that Christian morality is bad in the public sector because it will lead to outrageous policy—like what you see in some theistic nations in the Middle East. The fact is, atheistic, or secular thinking is religion too. The question is, does secular thinking promote a society to obey unenforceable laws? If the answer is no, then secularism is a failed system. If we examine the Judeo-Christian model, we see a successful system that has had centuries of evidence to prove that it works and offers the most freedom for its citizens. Such promotes the citizen to obey unenforceable laws which translates into a productive society.

There is good theism and there is bad theism. Most would agree that theistic Satanism is a bad theism. Secularism is also a bad theism. Of course, the theism that brought forth The Spanish Inquisition in 1478 is a favorite whipping boy for the Left. What began an effort to purge Spain of Muslimism and Judaism and restore Spain to Roman Catholicism, went to the extreme. I will not take the time to judge which theistic model is better than another. I only say that you can judge them by their fruits. It is good that we have a Biblical golden rule to use in such questions. In my humble opinion, the best theism is Christianity and the efforts to purge it from our society are just as misguided as the Spanish Inquisition.

“Rick, what were you thinking?”

"In a few short days, Republicans from across this country will decide more than their party's nominee. They will decide the very future of our party and the conservative coalition that Ronald Reagan built.
Conservatives can no longer afford to stand on the sidelines in this election, and Governor Romney is the candidate who will stand up for the conservative principles that we hold dear," said Senator Santorum."

Hoffa remains a part of the culture and is still a cultural mystery, especially to those with an interest in unions.

Hoffa’s son is current head of the corrupt Teamster’s union.

“Rick never has done much of anything of note, he isn’t the history making type guy”

He ran because he was unemployed and all he knows what to do is be a politician.

Santorum figured maybe he get lucky as a VP. He couldn’t have possibly figure he would do this well at the start.

The man lost by 20 points IN HIS OWN STATE last time he ran.

As Senator he voted pro-labor — that isn’t conservative.

He has no management experience and wants to run the largest organization in the world? Voters tried that last time and it didn’t work out well.

This guy is a near nobody who would lose bigger than Great Mittens the Mormon Savior.

Shiite Islam:

Shiites, for whom Jihad Suicide and Ritualized Pain are cornerstones of their faith, actually seek Armageddon by Fire for the whole world.

Yes, they will all be killed too, but it's OK! You see, they will go straight to Firdous to be served by Infidel and "Bad" (i.e. non-Shiite) Muslim slaves for all eternity.

Then, Allah will reconstitute the burned out, but purified Earth as a Shiite Country Club sort of operation to create Paradise on Earth.

I wish I were kidding.

So basically, there is no use in threatening Shiites with death. It is a death cult.

“I do think, outside of industrial states, having been a very big union senator, having voted against right-to-work, having voted for Davis-Bacon, which cost billions of dollars in order to prop up the unions and having voted for every minimum wage increase the unions wanted, Santorum has a harder time when he gets outside the industrial states,” Gingrich said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
