Gasoline for $5 a gallon? The possibility is hardly far-fetched.
With no clear end to tensions with Iran and Syria and rising demand from countries like China, gas prices are already at record highs for the winter months — averaging $4.32 in California and $3.73 a gallon nationally on Wednesday, according to AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report. As summer approaches, demand for gasoline rises, typically pushing prices up around 20 cents a gallon.
And gas prices could rise another 50 cents a gallon or more, analysts say, if the diplomatic and economic standoff over Iran’s nuclear ambitions escalates into military conflict or there is some other major supply disruption.

I think the rage will set in once people start to get the idea this is not a temporary spike. Right now they think it is something they might have to endure for two or three months.
Only difference is in Europe, you can drive through entire countries on a tank of gas. Here in America, it wouldn’t even get you halfway across Texas.
If liberals want us to be like Europe they better keep in mind that they kill each off every 30 or 40 years in those things called wars.

If gasoline stays where it is or goes higher, George Washington couldn’t get re-elected, much less Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. and his “lovely” wife. Unless we get McCain 2.0 as the nominee. Where are they vacationing this week, by the way? The Riviera? Bermuda? Napa Valley? The Hamptons? Vail?
