I have been learning a lot about Andrew today. Not surprised to learn he was a FReeper. He has an impressive history, and he had a bright future. May he RIP.

I'm not sure WHY Andrew didn't stay with us after 2004. Like Tony Snow, he was a FReeper, too, but dropped out.

Perhaps we're to hot to handle.

kristinn, thanks for this retrospective. I did not know Andrew was a Freeper, but I am glad he was.

I have not been ablke to comment on his passing—it is still a shock to me.

Americans—real Americans —are coming under assault every day. One day’s outrage barely is responded to, when another takes its place. A cultural Cloward-Piven strategy is being played out, in plain sight, with no effort to hide the agenda at all.

Andrew was a bright knight leading the charge into the enemy fearlessly. Now, his saddle is empty, and we are saddened.

He fought the good fight and kept the faith. Now we must do the same.

We will always remember Andrew fondly, wherever America is celebrated.

I remember Breibart on a strange story.

He confronted some bus people protesting something. He asked them why they were there and they did not know why.

Well said! I woke to the news on the radio alarm clock and was in shock. I did not know him personally but for some reason was very emotional and saddened. I feel like we are under siege and I hate the fact we lost another conservative for the cause.

Amazing to read. I had no idea Andrew was a freeper, and really didnt know much about his role with Drudge in the 90s until today. He was a remarkable man, and will be greatly missed. Saw him at cpac this year and saw him jump in the bar area later that night only to be surrounded by admirers before cutting back out. A man of great energy and purpose.

Caught a moment of Beck this morning, and he said it right. We are an army of thousands behind these guys. This is a battle for our country and no one man (or woman) is the movement. We must all step forward and fill the void being left behind.

What a fearless warrior he was.
He laughed in the face of ugly godless liberalism and asked “is that all you’ve got?!!”.
What a great great man.
I will miss him.
He was a great American and it hurts to lose such a patriot.
