When Rush Limbaugh went to rehab, when President Reagan passed, and at other such times, the same pattern has shown up. It's very troubling.
We can disagree, strongly and passionately, without resorting to this kind of nastiness. Goodness knows, I have strong opinions and they're strongly held. I'll argue for my opinions with passion and conviction. And I have many friends with whom I disagree on many things.
I would never cheer for something like this. I don't know many people who would. But this pattern of behavior continues to show up, and much as I dislike pointing it out, mostly on one side of the aisle.
Thank you, Andrew Breitbart. In your untimely passing, you have exposed these people one last time.

for your personal sanity, if you identify a progressive / liberal in your life, avoid them at all costs. if you’re doing an interview, do not hire them. if they’re in your company, do what you can to get them on a dying branch.

What is glossed over with the term Progressivism is just old fashioned Stalinism. The type of evil politics George Orwell condemned in the West in several famous books with titles like 1984 and Animal Farm.
There is no tolerance for difference of opinion from The Party. That Communist Party infiltration of the Democrat Party takes no prisoners. Nancy Pelosi is happy to see the so called “moderate” Democrats leaving Congress this term.

Once upon a time America was a land blessed with a population of decent people. It has not been so for some time. The decent people remaining cannot grasp evil as it exists today. When they think ‘evil’ their minds immediately think of a Hitler or Ted Bundy, not their next door neighbor. But their next door neighbor is the man or woman that enables the Hitlers and Bundys of the world. Without their evil the tyrants could not arise.
To watch this madness unfold repeatedly is a living lesson in how ‘empires’ fall and decent people become subjugated, persecuted and ultimately eliminated.
I hope that decent people have the strength to set aside their inherent ‘trust’ that their fellow man shares their beliefs because he does not. See these evil people for who they really are...The enemy of everything right, just and true in the world.

Within minutes of the news hitting Twitter the hate-filled tweets came. I was not surprised but I still got mad reading them. The “tolerant”, “compassionate” leftists always show their true nature at the death of a well-known conservative.
Mr. Breitbart would retweet all the negative tweets he received, perhaps as way of mocking them and exposing their vileness.
His eyes were opened when he saw the left trying to lynch Clarence Thomas for no good reason and he has been well aware of how low they will go. They hated him for his courage and his exposing them for their hypocrisy at every turn.
Didn’t you get the memo? The call for “civility” only applies to our side. Not to the left.
Some of the hateful crap I’ve seen today would make Charles Manson blush, but it doesn’t surprise me.
We ALL must remember that when it comes to supporters of the Liberal Left, we are dealing with some SERIOUSLY mentally ill and unstable people.

Remember the classic liberal motto? “If it feels good, do it!” As long as their “feelings” tell them to behave in a despicable manner, it’s alright in their eyes since they detest “repression”.

With Andrew’s sense of humor, I believe he must be quite amused to hear shrieks of “Burn in hell!” from those who insist there is no heaven or hell.

I’m still in shock.
At the start of the show, after the usual opening stuff, Mr. Keillor made the announcement.
There were instant applause and squeals of delight -- from some. Mr. Kiellor, I figure, stared down the audience and stopped a larger outburst of joy. The few who had already reacted quieted down.
About a year ago I went back and listened to it again and it was not as massive as I remembered. It was more like what I just described.
Don't ya just envy the compassion of liberals.. but alas. . . .
Maybe, but these are leftists we are talking about here. Even if they lose they find some other way to win because we fail to stop them from turning it up several notches. Even if Obama loses, the likelyhood of him stepping down from his post is decresing by the week when you see what these people are really doing. They are setting us up for the next financial crisis (Europe probably being the trigger point) for this year. It is going to get really ugly.
How can these people talk of “Hell” when they by and large are atheists or crass libertines and do not believe in such a place...and for that very reason, probably many of them, themselves, quite ironically speaking, are destined for such a nether world if they do not repent in time.
