Already on the ground in Northern Alabama : |
Prayers up for all in the paths, and for their families across the country.

Already severe damage and a tornado emergency from a tornado in Northern Alabama.
As if Alabama needed more tornado devastation. And it’s only March 2nd.
My home is in central KY where, for some odd reason, there is a history of very few actual tornadoes, but my workplace is off I-65, ~40 miles south of Louisville, where we got hammered. What I saw on my way home from work Wednesday made my jaw drop. It just happened that the very large metal building that was ripped to shreds was right next to the highway, and a LARGE part of it’s roof was in the median. On the other side of the freeway all the trees were yellow, filled with insulation.
I’m in Huntsville.
Hopefully since spring is coming in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb...
Had about 10-12 Minutes of 1”+ Hail here east of Indy.
If they put bullseyes on weather maps, you see one over you today. :) Keep a close watch through this evening, and stay safe!
I live just NW of Hunstville, Al and just had a large tornado on the ground pass just north of my home. Early damage reports indicate a school was damaged.
A pic of the rain wrapped tornado...

PDS has been officially trademarked as “Palin Derangement Syndrome”
Nope. I just checked the active weather channel map. It missed us and has passed over with nothing behind it.
We’re good!
Getting rapped up side the head with one of those would hurt!
There is another line forming through Illinois into the Missouri Boot Heel. Be sure to keep checking for weather warnings all day.
