FOUR DECADES in congress! This is a great example of the need for term limits and a great day for the people in the 6th district.

Maybe he's trying to stay one step ahead of the media as the investigation into the money he funneled to his sons under the guise of environmental projects heats up.

The man's closet was about to be opened, no wonder he's stepping down.

E. Norm Us Dicks, as we like to call him.

I first heard of him years ago when he and former California Congressman Chris Cox(Republican) issued their now-famous joint Cox-Dicks Report. (True - not a joke.)

How is this a ‘great day’ for the people in the 6th District?
Apparently THEY kept sending him back.

Another case of ALL Congressman/teachers/lawyers are worthless - Except, of course, mine.

Which is why WE get stuck with the same old dead wood year after year.

"cast a giant presence over state and national politics for decades?" I'm from Wisconsin and have followed Badger football for decades and I've never heard of this guy, either as a Congress critter or a football player.

Hopefully we can now sell the Norm Dicks Government Center in Bremerton and fire all those morons that work there.

There are Three UWs: Washington (Huskies), Wisconsin (Badgers?), and my alma mater, Wyoming(Cowboys).

Well it makes some sense, since the guy went to Univ of Washington in Seattle and lives in Tacoma.

His lifetime American Conservative Union Rating is 8.94.

So in forty years, he voted dozens of times to enslave us. It is doubtful he voted for a single bill that expanded liberty.

His reward for crimes against the Constitution is high living paid for by his slaves.
