President Obama spent this afternoon visiting wounded service members at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, meeting 27 injured troops and awarding eight purple hearts.
During his visit to the hospital the president met with 11 soldiers, 14 Marines, one sailor and one NATO forces member, according to the White House. Twenty-six of the service members that the president met were injured in Afghanistan and one was wounded in Iraq.
The visit comes just two days after the president honored Iraq veterans at a White House dinner, praising those who served as heroes and welcoming them home after nearly nine years of war.
Today marked the presidents 12th visit to the military hospital and his first of this year.

Measuring space for offering up 5 new heads to the Afghans. Or will it just be hands?
are you kidding me, improve morale? One day after the world saw joe arpaio’s press conference? The commie is doing everything to keep peoples minds off of the fraud and forgery committed by the usurper.
hussein obama plays the role of frank abignale as the phony visits the troops...
You appear to have a hidden agenda for Zero. You see him as your hero. He is a clown, a fool, and; you think one day with wounded troops make up for years?
My son is a Marine who ended up spending 9 weeks at Bethesda last spring/summer, where he received his Purple Heart. He opted not to have the President present it, as did everyone else there at the time. The current President is not very well liked or respected there.
Did they keep from throwing up when he spoke?
Ah, the Election Year photo-op.
Maybe tomorrow we’ll see him and the family attending a church service, for maybe the tenth visit during the past three years.

You got me there! I admit it. I have started this website
and have been posted to it for over three years to further my nefarious agenda.
The president is many things, but a clown or a fool? I was thinking more of the lines of Al Capone IMHO.
