U.S. forces should leave Afghanistan “immediately” if its leader won’t apologize for its soldiers killing Americans, Newt Gingrich says.

Stumping on Friday for Tuesday’s Georgia Republican presidential primary, Gingrich lit into President Barack Obama’s Afghanistan policies.

“This is an administration that apologizes to Islam and makes war on the Catholic Church,” the former Georgia Congressman and House speaker told nearly 200 people in Savannah.

Sweet lady, I hope you know that you are now living in the Tornado Alley. You & family do all you can to be prepared for those things. Put all valuables, important papers, survival equipment, food, light, etc. in a basement or some underground storage place. When we lived there, some towns were wiped off the map. I still have pictures. It’s a great place with wonderful people, but it does get weather.

Glad you are back caww:) I’ve been away too...tornado hit here and killed my former next door neighbor. We went to our shelter and came out after the all clear on the weather radio...2 am in the morning the Search and Rescue was here looking for our friend...little did we know until the next morning he was a victim of the tornado.
But I am still here through so much going on at home and will fight for our guy Newt

How can people ignore this man? He is the only one saying what badly needs to be said. He makes Santorum and mittens look like lightweights in comparison.

Newt defines the target and puts the “crosshairs” right where they belong every time ...and he's the only candidate who has the ability to be a true Statesman for the 21st Century!

Leave them alone, Santorum is in the birth control war, Romney is in the “I can beat Obama” war. Newts in a battle for the very soul of this nation. (in a couple of days the other two will catch up)

Me either Kate. The heck of it is we FINANCE those bstards, and train them to turn around and kill us. What kind of a twisted world do we live in.

Get out troops out of there now, and I don't care what those animals do to one another.

Newt is so right on this. In fact, I don't even care about the apology, (because it isn't going to happen anyway), just walk out of there, kick the dust off their shoes and never look back. Time for them to handle their own problems.

Go NEWT he's on a roll with all these points.

Isn’t that sort of like throwing Briar Rabbit into the Briar Patch?

IOW, isnt’t that just what Obama wants in the first place? As as bonus, then he can blame the “loss” of Afghanistan on the Republicans.

Now if Newt had added, “... and then nuke the place” that would be a different story.

Bummer wants to cut back our nuclear arsenal. This would be a way to do it. Dumb gravity bombs from the bird designed for that job. The Big Ugly Fat Fellow, the B-52.

While this makes for good politics now, the fact of the matter is we should have been out of Afghanistan in 2003.

And, we should not condition our immediate withdraw on an apology from the pseudo-Government of Afghanistan.

We should leave unilaterally, now. Today. Yesterday even.

Those are my feeling exactly. Santorum is at best okay, but if you look at him as a leader, he’s going to get bogged down on controversial social issues when he should be driving the dagger into the heart of the Democrat machine over this debt nonsense and economic downturn.

When the economy starts turning around, you can start to address social issues.

I just see Santorum stumbling all over himself like he has done throughout this campagin. Newt is a finisher. It’s just evident. The guy gets things done.

I voted early for Newt in Tennessee. I can only hope he surges enough to get back in the race.

LOL. We have scaffolding around the dish, also, so reception has been difficult. Now it’s out, except in the kitchen. I would have liked to have watched the Huckabee thing.
