As the Rush Limbaugh show became embroiled in
Rush Limbaugh's attacks on a female college student are scaring off advertisers. controversy Friday, Cleveland Cavalier's owner Dan Gilbert made a hasty exit, declaring his company would no longer support the talk-radio host with advertising dollars.
Gilbert announced via his Twitter account that Quicken Loans Inc. was pulling its ads from the show in protest over Limbaugh's verbal attacks on a female college student.
"Due to Rush Limbaugh's inflammatory comments along w/valuable feedback from our clients & staff, Quicken Loans has suspended ads on his show," according to a 4:09 p.m. Tweet attributed to Gilbert.

Do tou think he should allow these advertisers to resume their purchases ehn this all blows over? I am sure they will want to purchase more spots.
As for Limbaugh, he wil continue to laugh all the way to the bank.

And Quicken loans is not a service I will use.

So good of these slut-loving CEOs to give us a list of products to boycott.
Rush can sponsor his own show for as long as he cares to air it.
Where was all this outrage when sites like the Huffington Post called Bristol Palin a slut? How about when Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a slut? How about when Joy Baher called Christine O’Donnell a slut? What about when Elizabeth Edwards called Ann Coulter a whore?
What about when NOW sponsors “Slut Walks” and tells women they should “embrace the slut label”?
Who cares about Quicken Loans? Or Select Comfort. I hate the bed I got from them. It’s like it only raises up and down in one area, not my contour like they show on TV. Way over priced.
It’s time for some new adverts, I say. I’ll buy.
They don’t remember the Florida Orange Juice debacle where their sales jumped after being attacked as a sponsor on EIB.
Quicken loans is fairly shady anyway, glad to see him stop supporting them.

I read on Twitter that Auto Zone has now pulled ads from Rush’s show.
Dumb, whining sluts are many advertisers’ target market.
That says a lot about their products...

Gosh I wonder who actually buys loans from Quicken —lezbos and Occupy types? This will blow up in their faces, and quickly.
Amongst his many sponsors over the years were such advertisers as Florida Orange Juice, and Snapple. While they were being mentioned by Rush, their sales went through the roof, when they chose to drop him (for various reasons); their sales were never the same again. All current sponsors of Rush should keep this in mind.
Just a second short of loan-sharking.
Rush has so many companies waiting on the side to take the spot...
