The issue is that the student insurance offered by Georgetown did not include birth control coverage because as a Catholic institution it would violate their religious doctrine.I would assume the policy that does not include birth control coverage is cheaper than one that does. Student health insurance policies that include birth control coverage are readily available with all private health insurers.So she could easily have obtained a policy that included birth control coverage and paid the extra premium with any number of student health insurance carriers. Instead she insisted that students attending school to get an education rather than sleeping around should be forced to pay the extra premium to have coverage for something they have no intention of ever using. I guess freedom of choice to her means who she chooses to sleep with that evening rather than individuals having the right to choose coverage needs.Welcome to the world of Obamacare mandates.

I like Rush Limbaugh, but in this particular case, the truth of this woman is going to be a lot harder to get out because he used a particular word to describe her.

I thought his “prostitute” line was inspired; it would have gotten the same people outraged, but then the explanation would have highlighted the point — the she was asking for other people to pay so she could have sex.

But calling her a “slut” didn’t advance the argument, and instead took focus off of our personal liberties (including the woman’s personal liberty to have sex whenever and with whomever she wanted) and onto “men trying to demean women”, which the “slut” term certainly did.

You nailed it. I suspect that there are a lot of these plants out there, placed precisely when the Obamacare legislation was being rammed through. The plants were strategically placed in faith-based institutions to provide an inside avenue of attack. They anticipated these kinds of pushbacks against Obama’s mandated birth control/abortion, and planted these sleepers in the event that they had to force the issue. Remember, by getting out in front of it and putting a victimization spin to the story, the ‘Rats are able to frame the debate on their terms. We all know that the ‘Rats are masters of this, something that conservatives never have appreciated or gotten the hang of themselves. But once they case themselves as victims and conservatives/religious as “mean-spitited persecutors”, they have framed the issue in a manner that the media will utterly lap up, and the gullible sheeple will fall for.
