10 miles in the air of a tornado - holy cow.
this kid is here for a reason. God bless this child.
Wow. I have a friend who was carried for a half-mile by a tornado as a child, but 10 miles is amazing.
10 miles away following a tornado.
Get those assinine "authorities" away from that child ... and out of our lives !!
God watches over drunks and little babies!
I hope that the rest of her family is okay. And yes - what a miracle!
...and her little dog too?
...and her little dog too?
How they figured out whose baby it was, must be another wonder.
Social workers all abuzz. Durn their busybody hides.
You live in Oklahoma? A similar thing happened here during the May 3rd tornado.
Wow, I hope she recovers and the family is safe.
Washington County Sheriff Claude Combs told ABC News that the girl, who is believed to be 3 or 4 years old, was discovered near the bodies of her 21-year-old mother and two younger siblings, ages 2 years and 2 months old.
Sounds like it might be
I can only imagine the sheer joy of this baby’s family, assuming they survived the storm. And I hope the baby makes it through the injuries she sustained.
Given the accuracy of reporter, a 3-year-old next to three dead people is the same as a baby alone ten miles from home.
That is just amazing, considering the damage to those communities! God Bless that woman who allowed the kids on that bus to shelter in her basement!
There was a baby that was found alive in a field across
the road from the house her momma was killed in
Bethpage Tn a couple of yrs ago.The searchers
thought she was a doll at first.
This baby in Indiana was truly a miracle to alive
Prayers for her recovery
The parents will probably be arrested and lose custody. Zero tolerance!
Thank God for sparing the life of the baby.
As for the bus incidents, I’ve never understood evacuating children into a storm. Their parents may not even have been at home. The vehicles certainly weren’t safe. I saw what happened to the school— not a good option either unless they had secure shelter areas.
In one of the ‘weather’ threads yesterday or the day before, some FReeper posted a comment to a news article about a baby being ripped from its mothers arms during a tornado.
Maybe this is the same child.
Tornadoes do strange things.
Wow, that must have been one wild ride. Thank God that the child survived.
“a news article about a baby being ripped from its mothers arms during a tornado.
Maybe this is the same child”
I saw an article with a story about a 4yr old child being ripped from his mother’s arms....the child died, and the mother survived...not the same story, I’m afraid.
It was the Xenia, Ohio tornadoes back in 1974.
Toddler found in Indiana field after tornado kills her family
...and deposited ALIVE in the field. What a mighty God we serve!
Only surviving member of her family.
She died ....
How very, very sad.
Prayers and more prayers.
