WASHINGTON (AP) -- Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh apologized Saturday to a Georgetown University law student he had branded a "slut" and "prostitute" after fellow Republicans as well as Democrats criticized him and several advertisers left his program.

Sooner or later somebody covering this story is going to make an unfortunate typo on the word “insult.”
She hasn’t apologized for wanting me and you to give her out of our pockets $3000.00 a year for her sexual activties.
Unfortunately, with Rush, its all about the money and advertisers... the tact that should now be taken is to ask the slut if she believes that the Government should also provide free STD treatments due to her lax sexual behavior. And also ask if her mother approves of her sexcapades that requires so much birth control.

I quit listening to him on “Bloody Thursday” when he joined forces with Fox and the GOP-e to take out Newt. I had been with him and admired him from day one. I quit listening to him on “Bloody Thursday”.
I will listen to his cartoon show on Monday, just to hear his sorry a$$ try to talk his way out of this one. Then as far as I am concerned, it’s time to stick a fork in him.....

I’m probably going to get flamed for this, but Rush really stuck his foot in it. It was fair game to criticize her, but calling her a slut and a prostitute was over the line. That’s the kind of language that doesn’t play well anywhere. Rush is a smart man, but he stepped into it big time.
Even worse, Obama and the MSM was just waiting to turn this into a huge political issue. I already see posts on Yahoo News (falsely) saying that Republicans want to eliminate all birth control. That’s not what was said, but the sheeple won’t bother to look much further than the bumper sticker slogan.

This isn’t over. Rush said to Bo Sneardly this would be bigger than the Wounded Warriors thing. This has happened again and again. Some of his fans always abandon him. Then, when he explains it all, they look like fools. The fact that I can’t tell what’s going to happen doesn’t mean he can’t. “Don’t doubt me” he always says. I believe he has a plan for how this will all play out. This “apology” is part of that plan.
