St. John the Evangelist Church is located in St. John, Lake County, Indiana.
This area is solidly working class and votes traditionally in a Democrat Bloc. The area's congressman, Representative Peter Visclosky runs every two years virtually unopposed as the heir to Rep. Adam Benjamin and Rep. Ray Madden. He is ostensibly a Roman Catholic, but you'd never know it by his voting record, which is one of the most solidly liberal in Congress.
This homily by Fr. Maletta was sent to me by one of the St. John's parishioners. It is 11 minutes of the most clearly stated and compelling testimony you will ever hear from a modern Roman Catholic priest.

As a lifelong Catholic, I have never heard any political homily like this before from the pulpit, ever. We are finally waking up.
When I heard it I knew it was something unique and thought it deserved some good exposure.

0bambi has picked the wrong fight, at the wrong time. Two explanations as to why: a) he is so obsessed with murdering children that he will do anything to advance it; or b) he is so sure of reelection, by hook or by crook, that it doesn’t matter what anybody thinks.

I attend a large nondenominational conservative bible-believing church.
Unfortunately I don’t think we’ve grasped that the danger is to the entire Christian community, not just the Catholic church.
There are, however, signs of awakening. A reformed Presbyterian college in our area filed suit against the HHS mandate.
Let’s pray that all denominations will put aside differences and unite in this cause.
Whoa, Fr. Maletta sure ripped Obama up one side and down the other.
He lays things out very well.
I particularly like the way Fr. Malletta lays out Obama's recurring pattern of lying to the public and the bishops about his real intentions.

What bothers me is that true conservatives knew what was coming when Hussien was running for POTUS and he still won. His next move will be to give waivers to all churches and everyone will be happy again./s off.
I haven’t seen anybody step forward to challenge him seriously on his many unconstitutional actions already taken.
