“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

This is how God showed his LOVE among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 1 John 4:9

Our Glorious Premier states, “There is no silver bullet for lowering gas prices.” Nobody claimed there was a silver bullet but the silver Keystone Pipeline could have helped control gas prices in the near future but Obozo stopped it. He also has done everything he could to eliminate the exploration and development of our oil resources. He has closed down the Gulf and any offshore drilling such as the huge deposits off Virginia as well as stopping much of Texas exploration and has tried to stop the Alaskan offshore development. There may not be a silver bullet, but he has used a machine gun on our oil resource management. He is a radical enviro-commie who believes that the automobile and freedom are the enemy of the oppressed worldwide. He is perhaps the most brainwashed man in America quoting tired clichés why we can’t develop our resources.

While Americans are trying to avoid going back to $4/gal and the economic collapse that comes with it, he is burning untold tons of fuel to promote his solar, wind and algae alternatives. These are not serious alternatives but simply Green marketing by the DNC. The DNC dumps Billions into these boondoggles where the money is laundered through unions and corrupt cronies greasing the politicians who pour more money into the boondoggle. It has been sold as energy conservation when it is nothing more than pure corrupt politics. They do not want a substitute to oil they want the elimination of oil and the combustion engine so people will be forced into their subsistence housing and mass transportation slavery. This has nothing to do with alternatives or clean energy, it is simply a long term plan to control the masses and institute communism in America.

This is a planned destruction of the oil companies to complete their nationalization of all the industries just like they have done with the auto industry, banking and healthcare. Once they destroy energy or at least damage it severely like they have done on the Gulf coast, the next step will be absolute vilification and Congressional hearings to come up with solutions to stop the evil CEOs from making excessive profits. They will then do what they did to the Insurance executives and publically humiliate them to make them go along with the stripping of their profits and eventually of their facilities. Similar to the damage they did to the auto industry they will nationalize it and destroy it to force the prices up to European levels and eventually North Korean prices.

Once they own all of your health insurance options, Social Security and energy you are then owned from cradle to grave which is what they desire. You will no longer be able to decide if your child is healthy enough to be born or you are healthy enough to receive that heart surgery. The state will decide what size family, where you live and what your occupation will be as you will become a slave. You will no longer be able to afford gas or a car and will be forced to live in their modular cities built around mass transit stations where they can keep an eye on you. They will tell you what to eat and how to exercise since the gummit will need to lower everybody’s risk factors to keep costs down, so the yearly checkup will include your food intake card to verify your proper diet. You will become nice little soviet cattle.

Cars will be a thing of the past as there will be no oil production and electricity will be outrageously expensive due to all the boondoggle money machines. The only people who will have cars are the state workers who will have them provided as they are the elites who deserve to drive. We will have lots of electric cars, trains and shuttles being powered by ugly windmills, solar and algae which will lead to shortages and blackouts or simply not paying your bill due to the cost. This actually happened in Europe as 25% of certain countries can’t afford to pay their electricity and are freezing to death in their apartments. Welcome to Obamaland.

The closest thing we have to a silver bullet is firing every Democrat and liberal Republican this year. It is time to begin to take back our freedom and that begins with a solid energy foundation. Until we have an uninterrupted source of oil and coal power we are always going to having high prices and unemployment. We need to develop our oil resources and that begins with taking it out of Federal control. There is no reason the Feds own over 50% of the land west of the Mississippi and over 70% of states like Alaska, Nevada and Utah. They need to take their greedy hands off of our resources and let state and local people decide what to and how to manage their own states. It appears that when states are given a chance things turn out far better than DC will ever begin to manage them.

N Dakota and Texas have ignored the District of Corruption and have proved the States are where these decisions need to be made. It lends itself far more efficiently then the Feds are able to do and has a much shorter chain of command making for quicker and more thorough decisions. Taking off the DC shackles would release massive amounts of energy into the markets as they began to develop and explore to make jobs, create industries and raise royalties improving their budgets. No we don’t have a silver bullet, but we do have a silver ballot coming in November which is about as close as you can get if you want to develop our resources and bring those gas prices down where people can afford to live. This election will be a very simple decision, do you want the Eastern European model and gas prices or do you want Capitalism and all the benefits that goes with it like lower energy prices leading to a stronger economy and personal freedom. Do you want to develop our resources or keep them off limits for the commies’ grand plan? America needs to use the Silver Ballot this November to choose between capitalism or communism.

Pray for America

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily mine, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

Thread observations....

Except for the GOP candidates, who deserve the platform, I’m sick of the drivebys using the same old guests. Haven’t we heard from Debbie Washerwoman and Linda Graham enough times already?

Will they say anything new?

No.

Hey driveby media, how about some new guests?

How many senators are there, 100?

Why can’t you book ONE of them, at least, who hasn’t ever been on before?

Tired old washed-up shows.

The real question of the day: Will Rush Survive?

It seems he opened a whole new can of worms by issuing an apology yesterday, as advertisers began pulling out of The Rush Limbaugh program.

When George Steffie brought up that ‘contraception’ question and belabored it over and over, many, including talkshow hosts, were wondering what the heck that was all about. Then we found out. It was an intentional trap set for the short-term future against the GoP. Ironically, the trap caught Limbaugh. The Dems/Lefties/MSM couldn’t be more thrilled at that unintended consequence.

It could be worse: we could be getting McCain and Schumer, too. lol. McCain made his mandatory appearance last week, so this week is Grahams.

Too bad both of them don't take a clue from their good friend and colleague, Senator Snowe, and retire.

I think he’ll survive.

It hurts our cause, no doubt, since those with an agenda control the printing presses and most of the air waves, and they’ve successfully, to a point, made Rush out to be the bad guy.

However, Rush has survived worse. It isn’t the first time Rush has been portrayed as a bad guy, and probably won’t be the last.

The best thing he can do is stop talking about this fraud Fluke, and move on to the ever-present idiots in Washington.

Romney will win the only two winner take all states, Virginia and Vermont. The remaining eight states will probably be close enough that no one will establish a clear edge because they all assign delegates proportionally.

Tom, one more thing...

Rush has an daily audience of 18-20 million.

Those numbers are seriously powerful.

I’ve never heard about Carbonite EXCEPT through Rush.

Want to throw that all away to satisfy some liberal outrage? Fine. Go for it. Your bottom line will suffer, but hey, better to be on the side of socialism than make a profit.

That’s gonna be a lot of tea to sell and he may have to raise prices. [His tea is way out of my price range already, however.]

"That’s gonna be a lot of tea to sell and he may have to raise prices."

You must not listen to Rush, much. If you did, you would realize that you increase sales by LOWERING prices, not raising them.

RuSh may have an income loss of a couple of mill for a few weeks, but he will survive. His response to the criticism should be: "that's spelled LIMBAUGH"

The real question of the day: Will Rush Survive?

How about—Will Carbonite survive if millions of conservative subscribers pull their business in response to an owner who basically argued that his OWN daughter is somehow equivalent to a dysfunctional woman at Gerogetown law who, by her own admission, apparently has sex morning, noon and night?

In all seriousness, we learn more about what happens when formerly ballsy start-up companies succeed (thanks in part to their original introduction to the world on Rush’s show) in such way as to become big, exceedingly compromised enterprises trying to be all things to all people. (Extreme sanctimony is usually a sign that a company will be delivering a watered-down product in due time.)

Of course Rush has to hold his affiliates together and deliver high-paying advertisers so he HAS to apologize — and he did go a metaphor too far here because he picked on a private citizen. Not that she didn’t ask for it.

Wallace brings up the Limbaugh fiasco to Santorum.

[duh!]

Wallace asks: “Do you really want to be campaigning on contraception in 2012?”

Santorum begins to answer, and Wallace interrupts with his motor boat impression, “But, but but...”

==

I fear this non-issue is designed to distract from real issues: economy, jobs, Obamacare, etc. And the candidates/talkshow hosts are falling for the distraction.

So far, Wallace has used the entire Santorum segment (abt 7 minutes) for this topic and social issues.

Great post as usual, bray!

America is under a full scale attack from the Left. Their lying, corruption, threats, misdirection and general calumny is astonishing even to those of us familiar with it. Their stealthy coup over the American People and our Constitution is almost complete. Strategically, it requires only that 0bama win another term in 2012. If he does, I fear it will take terrible efforts if any Retoration is to be effective.

One can now hear not only the clanking of our chains on the plains of Boston but throughout our land.

We must not lose sight that our goal must be ridding ourselves of this malignant Administration and it's powerful enablers in the all branches of government, society, and the Media. These termites have been destroying our foundations for years but they are now mounting their final offensive to topple us. We can only hope our house still has enough strength left to stand until it can be rescued and repaired by a people driven by a thirst for liberty and their servants of good will.

Gingrich on ABC, George S. asks how he can put together a winning strategy moving forward. Gingrich touts Georgia, also other states where he will pick up delegates.

Asked about Campfield’s (Tennessee supporter) switching to Santorum - Gingrich touts TN caucus he won, etc.

Gingrich talks aboutdifference between himself and Santorum - Santorum is big labor supporter compared to himself. Says when you get out of industrial states, things change.

George keeps pushing......historically long fights in the primary cause that party to lose. Gingrich brings up the Hillary/obama primary ight and how that didn’t hold true.

George plays Rush’s comments about Fluke - asks Newt if Rush reinforced the dem strategy claiming Rep’s are in a war against women. Newt brings it back to the war on the Catholic church. He is amazed that there aren’t more voices standing up for religious liberty.

George asks whether he thought Rush should apologize. Newt says yes, briefly, but immediately goes after obama for apologizing to Afghanis for the koran burning.

I listened to most of the comments Rush said and I have to comment that if these jerks on the left can’t take a joke, then screw them. Rush has always used absurdity to expose the absurd, and sarcasm to emphasize the point.

More, Fluke is not some unsuspecting victim either. She’s an activist who either knows what she’s doing or taking advantage of the situation provided by statist activists. And, lets face it, $3000 over three years for contraception is now somehow a burden on her or her classmates, and that it should somehow be free for them? Really? How much have they been spending on iPads and iPhones? How many Starbucks coffee’s will they have to give up, or the junk foods they’ve been eating? Or maybe they might have to stop going to some trendy restaurant or night club.

This whole issue is a manufactured fantasy the Democrats are trying to use to gin up discontent and votes. They are trying to create an issue where there shouldn’t even be one.

I don’t believe Rush should apologize one bit. If anything these people on the left need to apologize to the rest of us for making a mountain out of a molehill.

This is arguable at best. Ratings flucuations can never be pinned on one factor. For every person who stops listening because the host doesn’t endorse “my guy,” there will arrive some other listener who tunes in because the host HASN’T “sold out” to one candidate.

Rush has NEVER really endorsed candidates in the primary season and you could probably find seasons where his ratings went up.

The other thing I’d add, just from a personal perspective, is this:

Which one of these candidates is so great that they are worth alienating sections of the audience for and staking your reputation on?

I don’t see it.

Paul is loony tunes.

Romney is plain hopeless.

Newt has decades-entrenched negatives in the 60s and will likely end up back on the sofa with Pelosi for the attention it will bring him.

Santorum has already thrown Rush under the bus.

Cain seems to be a serial womanizer.

Bachmann was a walking gaffe machine.

Pawlenty?

That guy from Utah?

If I had a reputation and livelihood rooted in political analysis or observation there is NO WAY I’d go to the mat for any of these people.

Just me, though. A lifelong and diehard Palinista.

Now David Axelrod is up with George St. - asked about Israel - touts all the ways the US/Israel connection is strong.

Asked about apologozing for the koran burnings - obama was trying to save lives of troops.

Gas prices - what if it goes to $5? Asked about Chu’s comments that our goal is to descrease our dependency on oil (not to reduce gas prices). Axelrod - touts fuel effieciency standards that obema has dictated as one way obama is trying to help reduce gas prices.

(OH LA LA - that answer alone shows he is a Total Idiot! obama picked some incredibly huge number out of the air for the new CAFE standard by some year and actually thinks the auto industry can accomplish that standard? No, he is trying to force us all to drive electric cars....)

Asked about Rush’ comments and Boehner’s responses - Rush comments were vile to that woman and to all women Rush’s comments were predicated on a lie. Even his his quasi-apology, Limbaugh continued the falsehood.

Gregory asks Cantor about the Limbaugh comment.

[Rush has made himself the topic of the day.]

Gregory does criticize Romney for not coming out strongly against the Limbaugh comments.

[Code word for the moring: Rush is evil. EEEEEEEVVVVIL]

Gregory makes ‘contraception’ the issue.

[The deflection is in full force — keep the Republicans away from real issues — joblessness, economy, Obamacare — and cram a made-up issue down their throats. Sadly, it is working.]

Gregory editoralized a question to Cantor that the Republicans shouldn’t hit Obama over gas prices, because the real problem has been a lack of leadership from Congress — Republicans, and Dems to a lesser extent — for decades regarding drilling, etc.

[Gregory smiles while trying to provide cover for Obama on rising gas prices.]

So you aren’t in the least bit curious who he voted for in the Florida election? I understand the theory, but there is someone he voted for and most likely Santorum even though Newt matches him politically.

Some find it cowardly especially in the state of our Country and what is at stake. I guess you could say Rick got a bump out of his game but will still be able to push Mitt when the time comes.

A Statement from David Friend, CEO of Carbonite:

“No one with daughters the age of Sandra Fluke, and I have two, could possibly abide the insult and abuse heaped upon this courageous and well-intentioned young lady. Mr. Limbaugh, with his highly personal attacks on Miss Fluke, overstepped any reasonable bounds of decency. Even though Mr. Limbaugh has now issued an apology, we have nonetheless decided to withdraw our advertising from his show. We hope that our action, along with the other advertisers who have already withdrawn their ads, will ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse.”

You’re right but it’s maddening to me. It seems the best defenders of Republican ideals and issues are ex-Democrats who can play the games of personal destruction and use Democrat tactics back against them.

With the exception of a few, Alan West or Marco Rubio as examples, Republicans keep bringing knives to gun fights.
