Gun Talk Giveaway - This Week on Gun Talk Radio

Mandeville, LA – It’s the first Gun Talk Giveaway of the year, an Air Pistol Olympian, and a program that introduces new individuals to shooting sports, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk (R) Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.

Frank Harris, Vice-President of Kahr Arms, Magnum Research and Auto-Ordnance, drops by Sunday to announce the first giveaway of 2012. It’s from Magnum Research, and valued at more than $600.00! More information is available at http://magnumresearch.com/.

Three-Time Olympian Sergeant First Class Daryl Szarenski earned a spot to compete in his fourth Olympic games in London this summer following USA Shooting’s Air Pistol trials last weekend . Szarenski visits Gun Talk on Sunday to discuss the U.S. Olympic team and USA Shooting. Find out more on the current team trials, and how to donate to the U.S. Olympic shooting team, at http://www.usashooting.org/.

Tisma Juett, Manager of NSSF’s First Shots program, drops in with info on the program that has “helped ranges across the country introduce thousands of individuals to shooting and firearm safety”. Developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the First Shots program is open to all ages, and hosted by local shooting facilities. On March 3rd, residents of Miami and Sacramento will fill First Shots seminars as NSSF continues their national tour in big cities. Find out more at http://www.nssf.org/FirstShots/.

I have a lot of use for my .410. It’s great for small game, especially when you can’t use a rimfire due to not knowing where the rounds will go. Like tree rats in tree.

I went to the gun store the other day with every intention of getting a Ruger LC9. Then I found out it had a magazine safety disconnect. The trigger was pretty smooth, but a little to looong to my liking. Between the two, I couldn’t justify buying one. Picked up a Kahr CM9 and fell in love with that thing. Put 125 rounds through it at the range today. Pretty sweet!

Yeah the LC9 has a long DA trigger pull but its very consistent.

You prefer the Kahr?

They make a Micro Desert Eagle that looks kind of like a Seacamp.
