Kim Jong Un inspects rocket command

North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un has inspected the country's military control center for nuclear weapons and missiles.

North Korea's state-run central news agency carried a report with photos of Kim visiting the Strategic Rocket Force Command with the chief of the Korean People's Army General Staff Ri Yong Ho and other officials on Friday.

This is the first time the center has been shown in the North Korean media.

The photos show Kim checking meters and conical-shaped objects that looked like warheads.

The report said he told his commanders to attack North Korea's enemies without mercy if they show any moves against the country.

The ruling Korean Workers' Party's newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, said on Saturday that the country is engaging in dialogue with the United States to resolve the nuclear issue.

But the newspaper criticized the US for military drills with South Korea that started this week. It said it is an attempt to get compromises from the North by putting military pressure on it.

The North Korean leadership apparently wants to deter any acts by the US. It's believed the North aims to raise tensions on the Korean Peninsula to put pressure on the US in possible future negotiations on its nuclear programs.

I read an article with a missionary who helps rescue people who escape, and he said he is reinstituting the 3 generation rule. This means if grandpa does something, his son and grandson are punished too. The guy said he is really a nasty piece of work, could be worse than his father.

He also inspects the dinner table while the peasants starve to death:

What was interesting was the photo of him and what appears to be a “missile shroud” for a ballistic missile.

Most of the aid North Korea receives does not go to the peasants. It goes directly to his million man army while the peasants are eating bark from trees.

The guy looks so much like his grandfather he could pass for a clone.
Is he giving on the spot guidance on everything, commanding the sun to rise in the west, or shooting a dozen holes in one yet?

Go figure.

He wanted to be sure the US didn't take the NorKs' desire for talks as a sign of weakness or a longing for peace.

Understood. The octogenarian generals are not going let him hold all the marbles yet.
