I noted the show was “light “ on commercials and esp the infomercials that seem to be throughout the show.
Loved the fact that he blackballed GM.
He needs to start his own network - not sure what is involved (plenty I am sure) but he obviously has the resources to do so ) Seems Clear Channel & he are under contract til 2016.
I also gave-up all pasta, bread, all dairy, chocolate, sugar (use all-natural, 0-cal, Trevia now) for 4mos to lose the weight. Now I enjoy almost all of them, more often, but in smaller quantities. Only juice now after 3-4pm, ‘cause everything you eat after 4-5pm turns to fat, overnight.
My back/sciatica problems disappeared and my BP dropped 61pts. Instead of feeling 62 and 247lbs, I feel 30 now, at 175lbs. Lost too much, too quick when down to 162lbs; got weak and anemic. Had to put some weight back on.
I’m not giving-up Marlboros; it’s the only *vice* I have left... lol.

I bought 3 2Tb at Circuit City when they went under, for $49ea, and they work great. Did you install the software which came w/ them, or just plug them in and let WIN-7/VP “find it”?

My juice is Ocean Spray, but I’m not sure if it’s five calorie...I do the crangrape....takes some of the bitter out of the cran...lol.

Just bought 50 cal Ocean Spray grapefruit juice to go with Mrs S’s grapefruit flavored vodka but that’s as low cal straight “juice” we can find that tastes good.
Look for Ocean Spray “Diet” for the 5 cal “juice cocktail” that tastes so good, we buy it by the case when it goes on sale.

I think "pious" is, for example, when you berate someone for being a "slut" because you've never engaged yourself in slutty behavior, or when you berate someone for not behaving in a Christian way because YOU always have. It's kinda hard to be pious or self-righteous when at the back of your mind, at all times, you remember: THERE BUT FOR THE GRACE OF GOD GO I. I don't think I'm a "better" Christian than anybody else, but I suspect that there are some who have not yet been as blessed as me -- not yet.
By the way, dearest sloop, one doesn't have to be selective AT ALL in order to find scripture in the New Testament that shows how Rush screwed the pooch the minute he called Fluke a whore and a slut. RUSH himself had to have known, and that he DID know is evident in his RIGHT apology. Rush is a Godly guy, and he was right, brave, and strong to apologize.
It's depressing and disgusting on the one hand to see the self-righteous lust of so many people here for the words "slut" and "whore" -- it's even comical, bringing to mind a character in the Chris Farley movie "Tommy Boy." On the other hand, seeing that I've got good company of some FReepers who find it as repugnant as I do, is fortifying.

The O-S Diet drinks are very sweet, wo/ high-calorie, high-fructose corn syrup and carcinogenic saccharin/aspartame. I also switched from white processed sugar to Truvia:

But I’ve been finding anti-sucralose sweetener sites all over the place, when I search for Truvia/ Stevia. I don’t know how much of it is true, but I have no side effects after 2-3yrs of drinking O-S Diet drinks.
CNS, do you have any side effects from it in your O-S?
I use Truvia to sweeten things, however both Truvia and Stevia are difficult to cook with. I usually break down and use Splenda to do my baking.
