Critics of conservative host Rush Limbaugh are making a push to get him taken off Armed Forces Radio.
A petition on the White House's website requests that Limbaugh's show no longer be aired on the armed forces network, which reaches U.S. troops overseas. As of 7:30 tonight, more than 10,500 people had signed the petition, which was posted to the site Sunday.
Limbaugh last week attacked Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke after she testified before Congress in favor of a requirement backed by the Obama administration to require health insurance companies to provide contraception coverage. Limbaugh has since apologized.

Whoa....There IS a free speech issue here. We can find millions of folks who have said worse. How about Hillary’s “f’n Jew”...or Mahar’s “C”...or the “N” word by Senator Byrd...etc, etc, etc...
Shouldn’t this be a decision made by the people who actually listen to Armed Forces Radio, rather than mad-dog outsiders who have nothing to do with it?
IF there is any intelligence in OBozo’s re-elect team this will never happen. Why? The last thing he wants is to turn all the military voters over to the pubbies.
Rush is strong-willed and will not run from a fight. And he's even more strong-willed after losing Breitbart.
The people signing this petition also most likely believe that our troops are oppressors killing random civilians for the fun of it.
Rush is probably thinking the same thing. They reeled him in hook, line and sinking. Hindsight has its way of being 20/20.

Is there a list of the companies pulling their sponsorship from Rush so we can know who to boycott?
Why was he caught off-guard by this? He's always been able to "read the stitches," and (as someone who's been a dittohead for more than twenty years) that was not an empty boast.
How could he have missed this one? I wonder if he was thrown off balance by Andy's shocking death? It sounds like they were more than casual acquaintences.
I've never heard Rush stumble so badly. I didn't want to listen to his show today.
I held my breath and visited DU today. Those zombies are going nuts call-bombing sponsors, radio stations, etc.
At 2:00 or so the WH (BS!)petition site had about 5000 comments on this particular liberal gripe. Now I see it’s over 10,000. The official armed forces position was more or less “we don’t make these decisions...” but I would expect Obumo will feel our soldiers pain and cut off Limbaugh. We have got to get this b’tard out of office.

This is nothing new, I think they limit him to one hour a day anyway.
