“State officials responsible for monitoring homemade lunches”

So, they’re admitting they do this? This is outrageous.

U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines — fluid milk, two servings of fruit or vegetables, a serving of grain or bread, and a serving of meat or meat alternative

The cheese on the chillens sammich isn't fluid milk. So her lunch don't comply. WHO ARE THESE IDIOTS who MAKE the guidelines. Tar and feather.

Principal Jackie Samuels sent a letter home with students the next day, informing parents that homemade lunches lacking any of the items required under state regulations and U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines — fluid milk, two servings of fruit or vegetables, a serving of grain or bread, and a serving of meat or meat alternative — would have the missing items supplemented by school staff.

Can we finally say that we now either lie down and take a ravishing by the communist jack boots, or we stand up and tell "them" to stick it in their pipe and smoke it?!!!

What the hell is it going to take to wake up an American populace that's in a moronic stupor--help wanted ads for FEMA concentration camps?!!!

Stupid stunt. The district should learn a lesson. Every teacher in the district should heed the warning.

Seems like a ticky-tack reason for someone to lose their career, though. She took the kid’s lunch ... she didn’t molest the kid.

Educating children is far too important to let the government continue to screw it up.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t the Department of Agriculture the same program that is responsible for Food stamps? The very same federal program that allows recipients to buy candy, chips, soda, and gum with food stamp dollars?

What is it with women and Chicken McNuggets? All fast food violence involves the two. Now we have what, a pusher in the public school system?

Those things are insidious. Women should stay far wawy from them. They should at least have graphic warning labels like cigarettes.

“Somebody had to fall on their sword... “

No, the turds responsible for this moronic program have pushed the teacher onto the sword. I don’t like unionized teachers as a general rule, but here this teacher (whose primary job should be to educate the children entrusted to her) got mouse trapped by the stupid, unconstitutional “nutrition regulations,” and got caught. But she isn’t the one that’s at fault. They are the one’s who expect her to take the fall so they can continue their “program” unhindered by bad publicity.

Oh boo hoo. “Suspended” with pay I’m sure and continued lifetime pension and health coverage.

Fire the facist *itch. Take her future away.

The parents should sue this bimbo for the rest of her life so she has to spend eternity in courts.

What ever happened to tar and feathers?

The school board, superintendent, principle, etc. of these shcools need to be removed. Come on people, vote them out.

How many votes does a super get in a school district? Can’t be too hard to vote them and the useless board out (these a-holes are no different than commies and home owner association board members).

Can’t let parents who aren’t “in the know” get wind of the left’s totalitarian anti-parental rights bent.

There’s something suspicious about this latest chapter in the kindergarten lunch saga. When the story first broke there was aome Federal bureaucrat involved, who was actually the one who snatched the child’s lunch and condemned it. Today we get a story about a teacher taking the heat, now that the citizenry are riled and going for their pitchforks.

Could it be that once the story went viral and the heat began to rise, the Federal meddler vamoosed for DC after warning the school authorities not to implicate HIM or Obummer in the broohaha.

And don’t jump to conclusions about the “poor teacher” who was suspended. She’s very likely still drawing full pay. For all we know, the school board, quaking in their boots over Federal threats, sent the teacher to St. Lucia on a paid sabatical.

As CJ reported Feb. 23, Cecelia Ellerbe, a child care consultant who works for the DHHS division, noticed a violation of the state’s nutrition policy at West Hoke Elementary Jan. 26. Walston told CJ Ellerbe “observed the lunch routine” at the preschool, which “would typically include walking through the cafeteria area. She could have seen any items that had been placed on tables, but might not have seen all lunches,” Walston said.
