1. Israel has limited political capitol. Why waste it on Pollard, when the real issue is protecting America and Israel from a nuclear Iran.
2. Pollard passed information on Iraq's nuclear program to Israel. He placed Israel's survival above his own freedom. How can Netanyahu dishonor him by risking Israel for his release. Logic fail for all of Pollard idiot supporters.
3. The obligation to ransom prisoners does not apply to Pollard. He was not kidnapped. He committed a crime. Logic and Halakha fail for all of Pollard idiot supporters.
4. Bringing up Pollard pisses off American patriots and renews the charge of dual loyalty... What is to be gained?
When Iran is taken care of, Israel should arrest one of the CIA agents aiding the Palestinians in destroying Israel and trade him/her for Pollard. This would also be a warning to the CIA to stop aiding the Palestinians and that blood is on their hands too. Now before some schmuck levels dual-loyalty (or worse) charges against me, think it through.
