Both Gail Collins and Maureen Dowd have achieved the rank of Barrenessa. A Barrenessa is a fifty five year old miserable woman who has shunned her cultural, religious and biological heritage to adopt the nihilistic values propagated by the New York Times. The Barrenessa has a strong need to preach and be noticed.

Is Dr Sherrill Sellman legit? I clicked the link to her website but it reminded me of one of those “as-seen-on-tv” sites.

I read that whole article and I’m aware of some of the info there. I’m asking because my 14 yr old granddauhter is being treated for painful periods with birth control pills. I don’t like it and I’ve said so. They took her off them for awhile but once it was out of her system the pain returned so back to the pills she went.

I want to give my daughter this article but I don’t want her to be able to say that it’s just another manufacturer trying to sell their pill.

Certain non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) decrease prostaglandin production which eases menstrual cramps. NSAIDs such as Cataflam® (Diclofenac) may be prescribed when OTC anti-inflammatory drugs fail to adequately relieve menstrual pain. Other prescription NSAIDs often prescribed for menstrual cramps include naproxen (Naprosyn, Anaprox), iuprofen (Motrin, IBU), indomethacin (Indocin), and mefenamic acid (Ponstel).

Vitamin supplements

The supplements recommended below have been studied in clinical trials and have been found to be effective in connection with painful periods. For best result you should take them over a period of three months, at the end of which you should be reassessed in order to monitor improvements and changes and then adjust the supplement programme according to your new condition.

The Pill has been used to treat painful periods since the 1960s, but today, it contains much lower levels of hormones than it did forty years ago. It’s not certain whether the new “low-dose” Pill is of any use in treating painful periods. A Cochrane review of the relevant research stated that: “No conclusions can be made about the efficacy of commonly used modern, lower-dose, combined oral contraceptives for dysmenorrhoea”. This doesn’t mean that the Pill is definitely NOT helpful with painful periods, just that researchers aren’t yet sure. Modern IUS devices, such as Mirena are recommended for reducing heavy periods and may also help ease painful periods as a result.

Can we restart the eugenics movement to cover liberals?

Sanger gained support from the elites of the time because her view on eugenics exactly mirrored their views about keeping the populations of undesirables low. With WWII, that sort of talk disappeared because it was too like the racial views of Nazism. Instead the focus turned to providing for the “needs”of the children of the elite and the reduction of the population as a whole because of the Baby-boomers large families.

I think in the beginning it acted more as an abortifacient, and though this was denied, they did make them weaker.

Thank you for all this information....especially the info on vitamins. I know that would be helpful for her. So would a change in diet. She eats too much junk food. :(

I’m going to have a serious talk with her and her mom.
