Dane County Circuit Judge David Flanagan, who granted a temporary injunction against Wisconsin's new voter identification law, signed a petition urging the recall of Gov. Scott Walker.

His clerk called back to say Flanagan would only answer questions submitted in writing at the courthouse.

State Republican Party spokesman Ben Sparks said his party will be filing a complaint with the state Judicial Commission asking it to investigate why Flanagan did not recuse himself.

"The very fact that Dane County Judge David Flanagan signed a petition to recall Governor Walker calls today's court proceedings regarding Wisconsin's voter ID law into question," Sparks said in a statement. "To make matters more troubling, Judge Flanagan also lists Melisa Mulliken, a longtime adviser to Kathleen Falk, as his campaign manager on his offical campaign web page."

Maybe Judge Flanagan will now claim his signature was fraudulently obtained...

If he’s a liberal, no harm no foul.

Corrupt judges corrupt the law. We suffer from chronic left wing bias in the Canadian courts, but we see very little of the partisan political shenanigans which seem to pop up all the time in the US. Electing judges can be a good thing, but it also has a dark side.

Dane County Judge David Flanagan is congenitally corrupt.

Good God!

I know most here realize how corrupt judges can be and especially for their union supporters. Believe me folks, I have seen this first hand and it is jarring. There was just a case here in the Northeast in which a judge was writing secret memos to the democrats telling them what positions to take before him, and that he would play dumb on the whole thing.

If he’s a liberal, no harm no foul.

If he’s a liberal check to make sure he didn’t sign two or three times.

Recuse is what should have happened before taking the case let alone issuing a ruling.

Tar and feathers is the appropriate action now.

I hope that there will be an appeal to a higher court, seeking a stay against or an overturning of this attempt to foster illegal balloting.

Judge Flanagan also lists Melisa Mulliken, a longtime adviser to Kathleen Falk

This process is beyond corrupt. For those who may not know, Kathleen Falk is the chosen one by the unions to run against Scott Wallker in the recall election.

Anyone know how to spell dysenfranchisment?

You can only spell that if you're black or hispanic.

You must not be either one.....: )
