Another men's UConn game going on during Rush's show (sigh), but - strangely - WHYN 560 AM appears to be off the air. They did the news, then nothing but static for over ten minutes now (starting at about 12:07 pm ET).

I e-mailed WHYN asking why they're off the air. Strange... hope they didn't cancel Rush's show. :-(

Fortunately I'm listening to Rush via his website now.

Rush is giving a great lesson on advertising. I might add one other thing about radio stations pulling Rush off, there is always internet radio that picks him up.

The left tried boycotting some Orange Juice growers on Rushs show years ago. Listeners responded by sending sales through the roof. As Rush says the Left did not make him, so they cannot break him. ( Rush can only hurt himself , such as apologizing for telling the truth , for example. )

I hate to side with the aggressors of our earlier history.. but think of Rush Limbaugh as Fort Sumter and this Mau-Mauing is the shelling that followed years of demands to "get out!".

For three years the demands to abandon modern talk radio represented by "Fort Sumter" has been building and now the shelling has commenced. . . .

Pray that the military and LEO (the professionals) step up to handle it but whatever.. let's just get it over with.

Hey folks .... I know Rush is saying all is well; however, I sent an e-mail to my local radio station yesterday to thank them for carrying the Rush show because I was certain they were coming under some pressure from the Left. The message I got back was:

“It hasn’t been easy. The opposition is very organized...but thanks.”

I guess I should not have been surprised …. but I was. This is a strong Rush market and I did not expect the station to be coming under such pressure.

If you are so inclined, PLEASE contact your local Rush radio station and let them know that you support them for carrying Rush. If you have state ‘ping’ lists, let them know this is going on. Enlist the aid of your friends and relatives living in the area …... whatever resources you have to get the message to these beleaguered radio stations, use them!
