So Buffet agrees to throw fellow Billionaires under the bus so he can keep the oil rail business and make another billion. Not a bad deal for him.

Pray for America

So, the traitor in chief wants to influence the internal operation of Canada by denying them access to the US refineries...which in my mind is what this is about. I thought we were in NAFTA, he is basically blocking trade IMO. It is not like they are trying to pipe contraband into the US.

I cannot wait for this blight to be removed from the office.

If my memory serves me correctly, the Alaskan Pipeline was a battle of where the terminus would be which fact was offuscated within the environmental fight. Ultimately it was which area of the US would get the oil for refining, east or west of the Rockies. This is exactly what is going on here, is the oil going to go to the gulf states, states heavily invested in the Turd’s political opposition, to the midwest or to china. It is time the POS did something for the US against a foreign adversary, China, and deny them that product they have been seeking world wide. In my mind it is a national security issue and that takes precedence over some contrived environmental issue.

Correct. It’s still in Canada and Canada is going to sell it to China.

There are currently in excess of 180,000 miles of pipeline in the USA.

There is no reason that two pipelines can't be built, because there is more than enough oil to ship to Vancouver as well as Houston.

Arab countries get weaker if the US doesn’t need their oil. This could even be the primary objective Obama’s Presidency: keep Arab oil producers relevant. If you are a Marxist intent on making the wealthy nations transfer wealth(back) to the third world the last thing you want is for America to have plenty of oil to drive the innovation engine.

“Yeah, there, Barry. Promise them some wind or some pond scum...”

Yup, now we know why he isn’t going to campaign for Rats in the Senate. He is holding that as a negotiating tool to get them to vote no on Keystone.
