I have to say you that my daughter, who has been an elite athlete, works out daily and follows a low fat diet with little red meat, has had high cholesterol since she was in college. Her body fat is extremely low, yet she has high cholesterol.
I have extremely low cholesterol, and I really like double-blind studies. There is good information here, but there is a danger in citing a doctor who has lost his license for the reasons stated. Rush should have vetted this guy first, and I sent an email to Rush saying so.
