Washington (CNN) -- The Senate narrowly rejected a Republican-sponsored measure Thursday that would have bypassed the Obama administration's current objections to the Keystone XL pipeline and allowed construction on the controversial project to move forward immediately.

Fifty-six senators voted in favor of the amendment -- four short of the 60 required for approval. Eleven Democrats joined a unanimous Republican caucus in backing the plan.

Print multiple copies of this story. Scotch tape it to a gas pump every time you fill up.

Not right now. Dems are in the majority and Reid
controls the rules.

Now ALL Democrats are fixed with the stigma that they are AGAINST JOBS, AGAINST ENERGY INDEPENDENCE and AGAINST AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM! Make ‘em wear it like Hester Prynn’s scarlet “A”!

If the Republicans had any sense (unfortunately, they do not) they would adopt this as their number one issue for November.

It is something that every thnking American can understand. Everything can be tied to the pipeline as an example of why the Democrats MUST go.

Jobs.
Energy policy.
Jobs.
Gas Prices.
Jobs.
Government Regulations.
Jobs.
National Security.
Jobs.
Gas Prices.
Jobs.
Gas Prices.
Jobs.

Democrats can’t run from it. They own it.

Any Republican that doesn’t talk about the Keystone Pipeline at every opportunity deserves to lose. Every issue can and should be tied to the pipeline.

Reid just gave us the Senate. No wonder Obama won’t support them. They are going to put everything behind keeping the White House.

Well, we lose again. Let’s see if Boner & McConnell stay on this relentlessly, or go back to their caves, pretending it never happened.Their history over 3 years is the caves.

[Democratic opposition to the Republican measure was complicated by reports last week that former President Bill Clinton came out in favor of building the pipeline.]

The Chicago goons must have some good stuff on all these Dems to make it riskier for there reelection. I wonder how many of those that voted against it are up this year?

It’s more than a Stigma, it’s fact that Democrats would rather back Obama than save the economy of this country.

Look at it this way. When Catholic Democrats back Obama aginst their Church and Jesus Christ, their country certainl;y means nothing to them.

They are selling out their own families for Obamacare.
The member of this Congress made themselves exempt from Obama care they knew how bad it was, but their families, their parents, their children are all stuck with it.

Anyone who sells out their family , their Church, their country ,to back a racist, bigoted, arrogant, spiteful, enemy of America is a low life POS in my book.

What did you expect?
Buffet OWNS Obama, and expects Democrats to PROTECT HIS INVESTMENTS.

But, it’s not cronyism because... Well, just because. Ask anyone at CNN.

Democrats ALL want NINE DOLLAR PER GALLON gasoline...tell ALL your friends. If you have ANY Democrats in your family; tell them to stay HOME this Thanksgiving and Christmas. Any Democrat heirs? Cut them out of the will.

Time for tough love.

Notice how the leftwing lapdog CNN calls it a “controversial project”? No liberal CNN, it is NOT a “controversial project”. It is a necessary and job-building, economic winning smart project killed by radical big government leftists.
