The people that over do it are not the ones that end up type II diabetics. It is slightly more common in vegetarians than normal eaters, and particularly uncommon in heavy meat eaters. Cutting out sugar and starches will help but won’t do the trick alone; you have to eliminate all polyunsaturates and man made fats.
Is this actually a sly sidle-in endorsement of the ketone producing Adkins diet?
I am a vegan now and I cut out meat and dairy products, so I should stick with using olive oil and avoid vegetable oils? What else has polyunsaturates, processed foods? Is this what he is telling us to avoid? This is where this is getting confusing for me.
