I forgot to tell you about the one funny incident in yesterday’s dental torture session.
Since I was there for so long, the assistant had given me control of the TV remote in the room so I turned on Fox News.
I was expecting either her or the dentist to object at some point, since I didn’t know their politics, but they appeared to be oblivious of what was on the TV. At one point, though, Nancy Pelosi appeared and when her name came up the dentist looked up from what he was doing to groan, “Is that woman still alive?”
Anybody catch the “diet” this caller is speaking off...the opposite of how the govt. tells folks to eat? Never heard of it so I just wondered what the story is on this
It’s surprising how many people are conservatives that you wouldn’t expect.
Just last week I had a contractor out for an estimate to rebuild the garage
door and as soon as he saw the bumper stickers on the Suburban he loosened
up and became very familiar. Turns out we went to the same Tea
Parties on The Hill.
Isn’t that cool! Yes, they’re out there, usually just looking for a clue from us or some encouragement to speak up.
here the plumber and I was jawin about Obama and whatever...I’m bein ginger cause he is a plumber, just sayin.....and surprise...we agree on most things....as I was turnin to return to my golf clubs , he adds....you know that 9/11 was an inside job right,.... crap.
I actually never considered that. I guess we’ll have to find out eventually.

Our youngest (of 9 kids) seems to have been a newborn only a couple of months ago, but we just got pictures last night of the little chick RUNNING around the house. (She's all of ten months old now and apparently went from crawl to first steps to wind sprints in the last two weeks.)
The eldest......Sheesh, the guy is bigger than I am.
I would have kicked him out on the spot.
Had a practice on tuesday for my daughter’s soccer team and one of the mom’s wanted to talk about voting. Had no idea what was going to happen next. She said that she voted for Santorum. I said good, i did too. Then one of the girls said, “Yeah, cause we do NOT want Obama to win again.” To which another girl on the team yells, “NO MORE OBAMA!” I was dying laughing after that.

Attention U.S. taxpayers: You now own a piece of a French car company that is drowning in red ink.
That’s right. In a move little noticed outside of the business pages, General Motors last week bought more than $400 million in shares of PSA Peugeot Citroen – a 7 percent stake in the company.
Because U.S. taxpayers still own roughly one-quarter of GM, they now own a piece of Peugeot.
...
In other words, General Motors essentially just dumped more than $400 million of taxpayer assets on junk bonds.
