Director of Obama ad couldn't find negative to put in 'documentary' (Get a bucket!)

The director of a new 17-minute campaign advertisement that President Obama’s reelection campaign has described as a “documentary” said Thursday night he couldn’t find a negative side of the president’s first term to put in the new film.

“The negative for me was there were too many accomplishments,” Davis Guggenheim told CNN’s Piers Morgan. “I had 17 minutes to put them all in there.”

Morgan pressed Guggenheim, who admitted to being “in awe of” Obama, on whether the film would be balanced. Guggenheim also admitted to taking a “pay cut” to make the movie.

“I think there are negatives in the sense that, the challenges when you’re trying to pass healthcare in a really toxic environment, they’re negatives in terms of the opposition he’s had, in terms of the political climate in Washington,” he said. “He’s wanted to bring people together, he’s wanted to compromise, he’s wanted to bring people together to make tough decisions — I say that in the movie. And he hasn’t had another side working with him.”

Obama could crap on their collective heads and they would swoon over the warm feeling they got.

MORGAN: But where do you find fault in him, personally?

GUGGENHEIM: I — you know, I don’t. I don’t, frankly.

MORGAN: He’s a perfect human being?

GUGGENHEIM: Well, no. But I’m really quite in awe of him as a — as a leader, and the choices he’s made.

MORGAN: The reason — I mean, I’m only asking because you are a well-known documentary maker. And this would be the first movie, I guess, you’ve made where it’s all completely positive. And even you personally don’t see any negative at all to the guy.

Do you think you were the right guy to make this? I mean, are you dispassionate enough to do a Barack Obama video?

GUGGENHEIM: But, Piers, you haven’t seen the movie. You’ve only seen the trailer.

MORGAN: Well, I’ve asked you to list all the negatives. And you said the only negative was you couldn’t put enough positives in.

GUGGENHEIM: Well, that’s true. That’s true.

MORGAN: How much did it cost and who paid?

GUGGENHEIM: Well, I’ll let the campaign tell you that. I — you know, I took a pay cut to make this. But the —

MORGAN: I’m surprised you weren’t paying him, by the sound of it, for the sheer honor and joy.

GUGGENHEIM: Look, some people who believe that this is one of the most important choices we’re going to make in our country, is who going to be our next president — some people knock on doors. Some people write checks. I gave four months of my life because I believe that this is what — the best thing I can do for my children and my country, is to get this guy re-elected.

Obviously he doesn't have a TV, radio, or computer, and probably can't read all that well.

If he wanted negatives, he could have just come over her to FR.

What is this guy smoking, or should I say whom ...

I think that's -- time and time again, you hear that from people who work closely with him. He said -- he really ran hoping to change the political climate in Washington, and that hasn't changed. And he's fought -- you know, he's wanted to bring people together. He's wanted to compromise. He's wanted to, you know, bring people together to make tough decisions.

Maybe he could add this as his theme song:

Oh, Lord, it’s hard to be humble
When you’re perfect in eVery way
I can’t wiat to look in the mirror
Cause I get better looking each day

...

He should visit FreeRepublic. He’d have to lengthen his film to fit in all the examples of why hussein is bad.

The so-called man who made this ridiculous fluff piece of a campaign-ad ('documentary' my a$$) has EXACTLY the same kind of personality as those who worshiped Hitler, Stain, Lenin, Pol Pot, Mao, Ho, Fidel, Che, etc. etc. etc.

He's already figuratively publicly fellated the president, I suppose there's nothing left for him to do but 'go literal'...

Guess he did look too hard.

One thing from the transcript you kindly posted:

“I gave four months of my life because I believe that this is what — the best thing I can do for my children and my country, is to get this guy re-elected.”

That is the danger, and someone pointed it out on another thread. Say what you like about the left (I frequently get in trouble for my language doing so!) but they are both enthusiastic and ORGANISED.
One of the texas Freepers posted that (s)he couldn’t even fill PAID positions for the Republican party (sorry, search is glitching on me again or I’d post link and do a courtesy ping.

His head was to far obama’s rear end to get a good perspective. Notice how deranged this dude looks. That is a pattern most obama’s supporters have. His documentory was done to FAST and FURIOUSLY to cover obama’s ELIGIBILITY and FRAUDULENT BIRTH CERTIFICATE, SOCIAL SECURITY # and DRAFT CARD. I guess.

Goebbels probably said the same thing about Hitler.
