"Doesn't take much to move these polls-- Newt's on message. "

A month ago you could FEEL the flow to Santorum. It was in the air. This week the wind is blowing the other way.

No worries, Mate. We’re gonna get way past that.

SOON.

Okay. i would post it everywhere in the world if I could, but I didn’t want to offend anyone. So, I guess you mean if it’s a pro-Gingrich thread it’s okay. Thanks.

“In 1994, there was only one person who consistently believed Republicans could weather the storms and capture control of the Congress for the first time in four decades; in 2012, he is a candidate for President.” ~Ken Kies

“I’m not sure [Gingrich] ever had a lot of friends here, and I’m not sure he cared, because he came here to accomplish a purpose, not to make buddies,” said Ken Kies, an influential tax lobbyist and a Gingrich donor. “Newt led a revolution, so that tends to leave bodies on the floor.”

We need a real bastard in the White House this time. Newt’s the man.

Newt did stay positive in IA for 3 weeks - purposefully and publicly - and willard continued to crap all over him. And then, romney did the same thing in Florida. I do not believe the tactic of sitting still while a pile of human crud dumps all over you. I honestly don’t know what the answer is, but you can’t be serious that you don’t defend yourself or set the record straight when people are downright lying about. You can’t mean that.

When you are out advertised 65 to 1, you cannot defend yourself. You cannot return fire. I mean, you can try, but it wont’ work. And it didn’t work. He tried all of that and lost 75% of his support.

I still say my way would have worked a helluva lot better. How well? I don’ know in Iowa and NH - but he more or less did in SC what I propose, and I wish he had tried it in Florida.

You may be right. You are definitely wiser and more calmer than I am, I just know it was so difficult to watch that all unfold. I think maybe the difference in SC was they were true southerners, florida much more of a mix. I don’t really even know, or seriously care.

I just think the so-called conservative media need to start speaking out against romney and what he is doing, which is despoiling the primary process with his filth. Somebody’s ahead of you? Pull out the dirt and dump. Everyone condemned Newt for his capitalism remarks, it was stuff the left says. Well, romney is playing exactly like the left does and no one speaks up or EVER questions romney about it. No one.

My perspective is only that I hate Obama more than I do Romney - and I know a lot of folks around here might not agree with that. I respect their opinion, that’s just not me.

Also, I know for whatever reason, Newt only resonates when he attacks Obama and liberals who support Obama. It was like when he went after Clinton.

Thus, I wanted to Newt to do what made him popular: attack the left, period. But yes, it was hard as hell to sit by and hear that incredible attacks from Romney (and Bachmann and Santorum and Paul also). It was awful. It made me start to hate Mitt more, I’ll tell you that.

Machine, remember this poll? Looks like it was in fact accurate for the date. As of 3/10— its Bam 46-Newt 40.

I don’t know about the independents, Ras makes one subscribe for that info. But if you look at the info at the link below, Newt has narrowed the gap by +/- 10; so it’s conceivable that there was significant movement in the indies.

So, maybe the tweets I relied on as sources were correct- but merely linked to the wrong article. Apologize again for posting the wrong article- just updating here so everyone interested has the proper information.

Thanks for keeping on it, Vin. This whole thing is just downright depressing. Praying for a miracle.

Your link leads to a forbidden page. Where’s the “proper information”?
