HHS Secretary Sebelius may bypass Texas Gov direct federal funding for Planned Parenthood.
Houston Chronicle ^

The announcement came a day after Gov. Rick Perry said the state will use state money to continue the program, which covers birth control and basic health screenings for about 130,000 women. He did not provide details.

"Sebelius also said direct federal funding for Planned Parenthood is under consideration.

Rep. Gene Green, D-Houston, who accompanied Sebelius on the tour, said the federal government could bypass the state altogether.

"We're going to be looking at this on the legislative side," he said."

Sebelius is truly evil, like her evil boss. And it is very clear that Planned Parenthood is one of the most powerful entities in this country and its policies are being promoted and in fact even enforced by the federal government in every nook and cranny of our personal lives through “health care.”

It is now very clear to me and probably to most of the people on this site why Planned Parenthood is “necessary” to Obama and the Democrats.

First it was pre-birth abortion, then the “Death Panels” of Obamacare and now they are talking post-birth Abortions. The goal here is the legal and consequence free ability to eliminate ANYONE who is inconvenient. In history that has occurred before, the Roman Pater Familias System had all family members literally at the mercy of the patriarch and they could be eliminated for any reason at all.

Under Feudalism before the Magna Carta the same thing could happen. Then you have the Incans, Aztecs and many of the other native peoples of the America’s doing similar things although mostly under the guise of religion.

The point is, is that all of this is being pushed because the ability to grant life or death is the sweetest power of all to a ruler or would-be ruler.

Umm ... he has a call out to John Boehner, and he expects that Boehner will call him back at any minute now?

Come on, Rick, live a little! Tell them to go freep themselves and make them TRY to find a National Guard or other military unit to enforce the distribution of money to Planned Parenthood.

You could go down in history as the courageous Governor of a great State who started the country back on the road to liberty ... or you can vanish into the unread footnotes of the 2012 presidential primaries.

This administration doesn’t need the 57 states (or that new 58th one Hawaii, Asia), the Constitution, Congress or US voting citizens to shove through anything they wish.

Okay, so the ball is back in Texas’ court.

The surest bet is to add additional licensing requirements for abortion providers, to effectively “administratively outlaw” them.

For example, require anyone providing abortions to have a large, well illuminated sign(s) that says “abortion provider” on it, prominently displayed on all the exterior walls of the building in which it takes place.

Cockroaches hate having light shown on them.

Require the monthly reporting and publication of compiled generic client information, by abortion provider, especially including the race of women who have abortions.

These ideas go on and on, with many no doubt being thrown out by the courts, but eventually it adds up, putting increasing pressure on them.
