All the FOX hosts and RINO radio gang are constantly asking every single caller or guest they talk to who is critical of Romney whether they will vote for him over Obama if he wins the primary. I’m getting sick and tired of hearing that every single time anyone says a bad thing about Romney. I never realized how many of these guys rely on RNC talking points. They’re trying to drill the meme into people’s heads that they must vote Romney and also doing a nice misdirection off of the criticism, forcing the critic to say something positive about Romney. I don’t think I’ve heard one yet say they won’t vote for Romney against Obama.
Dr. Milton R. Wolf: ‘Mitt beat Rick, but Newt beat Barack.
Only one Republican has made Obama squirm’
“While the mainstream media stayed focused on the game of checkers between Mr. Romney and Mr. Santorum, Mr. Gingrich forced President Obama into an astonishing game of chess.
In a 30-minute video titled $2.50 per Gallon Gasoline, Energy Independence and Jobs, Mr. Gingrich unveiled his vision for renewed American prosperity centered around oil and natural-gas production. He demonstrated his unparalleled insight into the intersection of energy, security and prosperity. Mr. Gingrich rightly declared that never again should an American president bow before a Saudi king. Meanwhile, Mr. Obama, stung by his recent half-billion-dollar failed Solyndra boondoggle, began floating his latest green fantasy of harvesting algae to cure the pain at the pump.
Panicked by Mr. Gingrich, Mr. Obama was forced off his game and repeatedly tried to respond, only making matters worse for himself. He stayed true to the Democrats anti-energy agenda and mocked Republicans for wanting to drill for new oil. This made the president the butt of a joke for Jay Leno on The Tonight Show: Democrats claim that new drilling for oil wont help us for at least 10 years, but havent they been saying that now for more than 10 years?
Mr. Obama boasts that oil production is up under his administration. True, but only because the president hasnt yet stopped production on privately owned land. Mr. Gingrich cut right through his profound dishonesty: Under President Obama, because he is so anti-American-energy, we have actually had a 40 percent reduction in development of oil offshore, and we have had a 40 percent reduction in the development of oil on federal lands, Mr. Gingrich pounced. So in the area he controls, production is down and the area that is hard at the free enterprise stuff where people get rich, production is up. So he is now claiming credit for the area he cant control in order to have us think he is actually for what he opposes.
Readers’ comments to Dr.Wolf’s article:
Steve_Flesher: “Newt is the only FIGHTER! I am tired of hearing Romney and Santorum supporters say he’s bombastic and narcissistic. OBAMA IS THE ULTIMATE NARCISSIST! We don’t need Pat Sajak to win an election.
Sending Santorum or Romney in to face Obama would be like sending an ill prepared soldier into war.
The country is mad at Obama. Gingrich is the only one who brilliantly transcends that into words.”
OsamaObama: “WHY isn’t Newt the leading candidate?! I know that he misstepped by returning fire on the nastiness of the Mittens campaign, but he is by FAR the best of the four candidates! I do like Santorum, but I just don’t know if he can win against 0BowMao. I think we need an absolutely brilliant fighter against the hyperbole of the Hussein machine. Mittens will NEVER repeal 0bamacare, and he is NOT a Conservative! I mean, this cat just made a statement that he “will do everything in his power to preserve the progressive tax code!” I mean, if you’re a Tea Party voter, then Mittens will NOT work to create a flat or fair tax. EVERYTHING about Romney is establishment/RINO Republican. That is precisely the type of Republican that has compromised and “played nicely” with the ‘RATs and gotten us into $16TRILLION in debt! Newt is an outside-the-box thinker. That is what we need!”
taxpayer_2: “Absolutely correct and this is why I support Newt Gingrich, after having gone into seizures about his personal life. I had to decide what’s worse, Newt’s personal baggage or Romneycare and the latter won hands down. I have come to the conclusion the only candidate that can beat Odumbo is Gingrich. Period. This election is about getting O out and we will lose if Romney is crowned by GOP. Like a fool, Romney is playing right into the left media..”oh..I like honey nut cheerios and honey chex”...really?... I want to watch Gingrich vs Obumba and his media. Who cares about cereal or if one can pronounce ‘ya’ll’.
Great article Dr Wolf!”
We all know this. But, he has to get the nomination first. What can we do to stop him and Rick from splitting the Conservative vote and giving Romney all these friggin’ victories. Sometimes it just seems so stinkin’ hopeless.
You forgot cheerful. :)
Thomas is right. The problem is how many who vote actually WATCH debates.
Thomas Sowell and Newt Gingrich are national treasures. I would love Thomas Sowell no matter who he supported, incredible man.
Breitbart was one, too...
“You forgot cheerful.”
I also forgot Newt’s 23 books, 15 of them on Top Ten list...
I’ve got sick and tired of people talking about Newt’s “baggage”, so I’m posting his REAL baggage.
“Thomas is right. The problem is how many who vote actually WATCH debates.”
In a national election?
Over 50 million.
You know what I like most in Newt, beside his sharp mind, knowledge, experience and debating skills?
THE FACT that he is NOT a lawyer. Sick and tired of lawyer-presidents!
“What can we do to stop him and Rick from splitting the Conservative vote”
A decisive Gingrich win in the South.
What is Romney in regards to being a lawyer, doesn’t he at least have a law degree?
Most of Newt’s damaging baggage has been out in the open for many years and is grudgingly tolerated whereas Obama’s baggage has never seen the light of day and has been happily and knowingly suppressed by the MSM. Hopefully whoever is the GOP nominee will dig into and fully expose all of Obama’s baggage and skeletons.
Romney is a lawyer as well. I hate lawyers in politics; they are similar with lawyers in court - the truth doesn’t matter, only to win their case does. Clinton, Obama ...
Law is like some other jobs, mostly based on “easy’ money related to personality and charisma, they attract a big portion of sleaze bags.
This is why the GOP-e, with help from the MSM, are working so hard to push Newt out of the primary.
Preach it sister! :)
Me, too...me, too.
One doesn’t need to want Newt for president or vote for him but please... at least stop denying and trashing his accomplishments.
I had not been nasty about Santorum but I have started getting more ugly of late. I wish I wouldn’t but I starting am getting pretty ticked off.

Romney hems and haws too much.
**am starting to get
never mind. gah!
The first time I will blame my mouse, the second time I blame me.
Seriously, I don’t know if it is my computer or my mouse. I’ve never experienced this quirk. I try and highlight and delete, it jumps all over and denies me or rearranges. My highlight function is as crazy as Cooter Brown and leaves me a mess. *shrug*
Sorry ‘bout the mess
That song is pretty sweet!
The IDF blows up the leader of terror group that abducted the Israeli soldier Shalit
The liquidation of Zuhair al-Qaissi, who was blown up in his car in Gaza City along with two other terrorists, apparently from a missile fired by an IAF drone.
Al-Qaissa headed the Hamas-linked “Popular Resistance Committees” responsible for the kidnapping of soldier Gilad Shalit, and also oversaw last Augusts terror attack near Eilat.
Sorry; posted it on the wrong thread.
I don’t want to imagine a Romney-Obama debate. It keeps going through my mind, but I try to stop it.
“Well, yes, Barack, but we need to tinker with a few of the details on ObamaCare to make it more like RomneyCare”.
“For the most part I agree Barack, but the details of a national firearms registry have to be worked out, including how people prove a need to be placed on the eligibility list before their firearms are returned to secure, government-controlled storage that they are permitted to access, and the appropriate waiting period before gaining that access.”
“On energy, we disagree. Gas prices should top out at $10 per gallon, not $12. We want to cut down on greenhouse gas emissions, but we also need to moderate the impact on our economy.”
“What is the biggest difference between me and Barack Obama? That’s easy. He hates America and wants to transform it into something unrecognizable. I love America and wants to transform it into something unrecognizable. We’re opposites.”
I have loved Dr.Sowell for well over thirty years. He sees the political scene with unparalleled clarity.
Amen... it is the truth and that is just a fact!
Gingrich: Obama’s Vision Is Dangerous for US
“Romney hems and haws too much.”
Can you believe that? Mitt Romney has been branding himself as an “unofficial Southerner” in Mississippi.
Sounds like people are convinced that if Obama is defeated in a debate, he automatically loses the election! I bet most people that vote, really don’t care about the debate results...but people got to have something to grasp to.
“I have loved Dr.Sowell”
So have I. Always read what he thinks of issues. One of the most brilliant minds in America.
“Mitt Romney has been branding himself as an unofficial Southerner in Mississippi.”
Bill Burton, co-founder and senior strategist of Priorities USA Action: Mitt Romney wouldnt even still be in this race if it werent for his super PAC.
Yes - and I know my intellect doesn't measure up to Thomas, but it is heartening that what mind and instincts I have are aligned with his thinking. Once Cain and Perry were out of it, Newt has been the only logical choice.
I AGREE.I don’t give a rat’s patootie about newt’s so called baggage. As a former military instructor of mine used to say,”you can’t argue with trappers what got skins on their walls.”Newt has got skins galore on his walls. screw all the baggage counters. i wouldn’t allow Mittens to be a horse holder much less the main man. Obummer is going down with Newt’s teeth firmly embedded in his jugular. the whining on FR is beginning to sound like a cicada explosion. Come on people, buck up and get the job done!!!!
Newt is the man, thanks for posting!
“I dont want to imagine a Romney-Obama debate. It keeps going through my mind, but I try to stop it.
Well, yes, Barack, but we need to tinker with a few of the details on ObamaCare to make it more like RomneyCare.
Watch the spoof Obama-Romney debate :
And then they will go on about electability! Of course electability is an issue. But, they act like they are the sole diviners of what is electability and how it is measured. Screw 'em. Obama is beatable! Period.
All four candidates can lose OR win against the big O. All four candidates have positives and negatives traits. Which traits do we emphasize and which do we ignore?
Look at 2010, the MSM played down the fury of the electorate, but the "pole that counts", election day, spoke volumes. There are obvious problems for Obama, blindingly obvious. Gas prices, food prices, housing values, unemployment, debt and deficit. Not to mention "fast and furious" and "Solyndra" and Obamacare(if he were a Republican it would be over already).
If the Repub's focus the campagne against Obama on the numbers alone, they will win handily, because:
Gas Prices are where we drive
Food Prices are where we eat
Housing values are where we live
Unemployment numbers are where we work
Debt and deficit numbers are where are future is
That Idiot in the white house has gotten into every aspect of our lives and spread misery.
my problem with Newton is the baggage from the Govt shutdown and the reelection of BJ Clinton that soon followed...
....are they connected and was it Gingrich's fault....
....I cant say...there is so much hype from all sides on this issue....
as far as his marriages, that is his business and does not concern me.
Obama KNOWS Romney cant win!
President Obama offered his likely Republican opponent Mitt Romney good luck for Super Tuesday.
Asked at a news conference if hed like to respond to Romneys comments calling Obama the most feckless president since Carter, Obama said: Good luck tonight.
After the quip got laughs from the press gallery, Obama smiled and said, No, really. Really.
THE _RESIDENT GETS IT!!!! those in the Republican establishment are too stupid to get it.
“Thomas is right. The problem is how many who vote actually WATCH debates.”
There’s a more basic issue. It’s the criteria used by those that do watch the debates. Just because a conservative thinks Gingrich won a debate does not mean that someone else will.
In an open venue with no special one-sided audience control, no cherry picking of moderators/panelist, he could out-debate Obama.
However, if he were the GOP nominee, this would never happen. Such a debate would be the most hamstrung, controlled debate in history. It could be more likened to a Kabuki play than a debate.
“Sorry; posted it on the wrong thread.”
Good news is welcome wherever one finds it!
I love it!
Cavuto - “Are you calling Obama a villain?”
Sowell - (Pause....Longer pause....VERY long pause...eyes saying [do I dare go there?]......)
Can anyone isolate that last bit of the clip and post it?
Newt Gingrich Outlines the 21st Century Contract with America, September 2011:
21st Century Contract with America
A Note from Newt Gingrich
“Americas exceptional nature is based on the self-evident truths contained in the Declaration of Independence. Our rights are endowed by our Creator and they are unalienable.
If we are to solve our jobs crisis and meet the challenges of the 21st century, we need a plan for national renewal based on these timeless American values.
That plan is the 21st Century Contract with America.”
