You don’t want me to address Santorum in that way and I CERTAINLY could.

Stand down or I will be nasty. I am tired of this.

But which man does he agree with and support?

Me, or the guy who disagrees with me, and is God choosing to reveal it to us during our 70 years, or to let it unfold over the next 1,000, or 50,000 thousand years?

“But which man does he agree with and support?”
***************
Who God? I should think he supports all of us, right or wrong. Agreement? I am not so sure. We are all but human, so I doubt he agrees with any of us. We are weak and fallible, He is strong and perfect.

I don’t think He agrees with any of us. We are to agree with him. He will reveal Himself to us when we seek Him, right now and in this very second.

That’s the catch 22—free will. He is the ever vigilant parent who lets us muddle our way through and sits back silent and doesn’t let us know He has reached down and touched us.

We must each figure it out on our own as best I can determine. But He is always there waiting...

I don’t go to church but I do read the bible and I do believe, this is the understanding I have come to. It may be different for you.

If it is important, then please put it in your own language.

Good article—I agree.

“They went all out in all fronts to destroy Newt with false ads, with Drudge Report, with all exaggerated or false recalling form different republican politicians about Newt character and philosophy”

Yes, and they used Rush Limbaugh. Used. And they still do.

God has satan on a leash, which He loosens at times.

I will vote for whoever is ahead, Newt or Rick. Will you?

Neither is a saint and this piece is ridiculous at best.

“I’m curious, did you see the Divine Hand in Obamas’ election?”

Yes, it’s called “Judgement”.

Why would God do that?

To paraphrase Pascal, "God has His reasons that reason knows nothing of."

Yes, I see Divine Hand off because of our collective sins. We have abandoned Him, so He abandons us to our own choosing.

You want to turn our country around? Pray, that is the only answer.

The term” Divine Plan” implies all of us are instruments in God’s Hand, Newt is no exception. He is my last hope given by God. I hope I am not wrong by saying so.

He has said, if he knew for certain that Santorum would be able to beat Romney, and then Obama, he would withdraw. And I believe he meant it.

Whether you ultimately believe it or not, your question about my comments contains the presupposition that God exists.

Specifically, my comments refer to the God of the Christian Bible. Now, either this God exists or not. But remember, the context of our discussion assumes God exists; we are not arguing the question of divine existence, but the nature of God’s will.

To have this discussion, we both must have adequate knowledge and understanding of the Bible. I assume you would not refute this basic convention of intellectual dialogue.

The Christian God is known by Christian doctrine to have a Divine will and plan. The Bible teaches that God allows the prince of this world to have limited powers at specific times, according to God’s will.

As you can see, the answer to your question is that it is God’s will.

Again—when discussing these things we must think clearly. This will help us to distinguish and to focus separately on different matters. Oftentimes, the human mind becomes confused between questions pertaining to Divine existence and questions about the nature of God’s will. This sort of confusion hinders the pursuit of truth.

“God has His reasons that reason knows nothing of.”

This is the right answer.
